What do you think are the best soap opera themes?

Daytime
The Young and the Restless - I love "Nadia's Theme." I don't watch the show, but I listen to the theme all the time lol.

Santa Barbara - I really like the opening theme and sequence.

The Edge of Night - I like the disco and techno versions that were used from 1980-1984 on the show.

Ryan's Hope - For some reason I like listening to the slower version that was used during the early years. *shrug*

Primetime
Dallas - What is there to say, lol? This is definately a great theme song, imo. Jerrold Immel did a great job on it.

Dynasty - Bill Conti did a great job on the theme song. I never get tired of it.

Falcon Crest - Another theme song that Bill Conti did a great job on. I don't like the version from the last season that much, though.

Knots Landing - Another theme song that Jerrold Immel made, which is good [though not as good as Dallas' theme, imo].

The Colbys - Another good theme by Bill Conti. I like it almost as much as the theme to the show it spun off from.

I like Passions Theme and All My Children theme is on the show now.

Y&R- The classic "Y&R" theme song that Mary J. Blige used in her "No More Drama" theme. A great theme.

Passions has a great theme song. Young & The Restless' and Days Of Our Lives' songs are classics, and Bold & Beautiful just makes me smile. (I have no idea why. It's just so upbeat and kind of... not really cheesy... I don't know what the word is that I'm looking for here, but I just like it. :)) As for primetime, Beverly Hills 90210 is very catchy, and of course Dallas was classic, too.

The Young And The Restless theme most definitely. I am glad they got the original Nadia's Song theme back instead of the jazzed up version of the theme they had from 2000-March 2003.

And of course, the Dallas theme.It's a virtual shame that Dallas is not on SoapNet since its spinoff Knots Landing is on there and J.R. and Bobby made some appearances on Knots Landing.
