View Full Version : We Must Be Vocal About Wanting Ozzie and Harriet

Think of how much joy we would have, and others would stumble across, if TV Land or The Hallmark Channel were to pick up "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet." It's important, then, that we voice our opinion.

If you haven't already done this, go to www.tvlands.com/boards and see the part where it has "Show Suggestions"

There are a lot of people who've been expressing an interest in seeing the Nelsons. If we want America's Favorite Family to be available, we need to make sure our voices are heard.

Unfortunately, TV Land recently announced a number of new programs would be joining its line-up, and "Ozzie and Harriet" is not among them. We've got to hope that if enough people do request this show, they will see there is a demand.

The link didn't work for me, but I'll go to the web page and try it from there. I'd REALLY love to see O&H on TV again.

the correct address for TV Land is www.TVLand.com, then go to Message boards and then to Suggest a show. You have to register first though. My thread is "Petition for Ozzie and Harriet".

Thanks, mcgwire fan, I see what I did when typing the link. There was an "s" in the link where there shouldn't have been.

www.tvland.com/boards is what it should say.

Has anyone read some of the comments there? It seems like TV Land and Nick at Nite would probably get a minus 15 on a JD Power and Associates Customer Satisfaction survey. There seems to be quite a bit of frustration about how often "The Cosby Show" runs.

My beef is how often they run "The Brady Bunch" and "Gilligan's Island." These shows have been on non-stop since the 1970s. It would be nice if some other reruns were hauled out, specifically "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet."
I believe with every fiber that today's viewers would very much welcome this show and find it very addictive.

I agree. Show us programs that we haven't seen much of. I see I Dream of Jeannie and Bewitched are going to be shown on tv land. I do believe both those shows have been seen quite a bit by the american public and need not to pushed on us again. I never got into Happy Days much and that is continueing.
Any one know what the status on tv shows are on Hallmark or , Goodtv? George Cooney's father has a announcer/host job on Goodtv, Tell me all you can on tv shows shown from the past. I love old tv. glad to hear Fanasty Island is coming to tvland. Although in my mind not a real oldie yet. Thanks

I read that Skip Young died in a boating accident. Does anyone know why the accident was fatal?

Did you mean www.tvland.com? (no s)-your link took me to a wierd site. When I typed in www.tvland.com I evetually came to a page that listed 30 or so shows (O & H) wasn't listed. At the bottom of pg you could fill in show(s) not listed. I filled in Ozzie & Harriet!! on each line and added the words "hint hint" on the last line. Hope this helps & hope they get the message. When TVLand gets O & H I'll get cable! Everyone else suggest O & H too. Maybe with enough requests they put O & H on the air!

Hello, Group

I don't want to steer you/us away from TVLand, but I was just wondering whether there would be more likelihood of success getting Ozzie and Harriet back on the air if we all contacted the GoodLife TV Network instead, since 1. the GoodLife Network seems to be more open to showing programs from the 60's (TVLand seems to prefer the 70's-80's of late), and 2. the GoodLife network actually had the show on in the past (within the last 7 years, I believe). I have written to them myself and got a nice, "maybe sometime" response. Perhaps if many more wrote in there (not just TVLand) we would get quicker action and we wouldn't be putting all our eggs in one basket.

Just a thought.
