Joe, Brian, and Helen always spend Christmas Eve together and watch a rental movie, Joe finds out he was charged fifty cents rewind fee, he wants to correct the mistake. Joe goes to the video store and makes a big deal that causes the tape rewinder a woman in her 90's to get fired. Joe then finds out that Lowell watched the tape after he rewinded it, Joe calls the store to only find out she has been hospitalized. Joe feels so guilty that he goes to visit her.

I haven't seen this episode in ages. I remember it being a funny one though. As a supermarket cashier, I love the title :D

offtopic:  I don't like that "The customer is always right" saying at all! I've been a cashier for almost four years now and while I do believe in providing good, quality service for the customers, I still don't think the customers have the right to be rude a**holes to us employees. If I was rude to the customers, I'd be fired. Nasty, rude, mean custoemrs ought to be kicked out of the store sans groceries. </rant>
Sorry for the off-topic rant, but I'm tired of being a verbal punching bag. How would those rude customers like it if it was their child (or grandchild or whatever) being spoken to in that manner?

lol i know about rude customers VERY well. I worked at an amusement park, called Lake Compounce, for 2 summers in a row a few years ago, and you wouldn't believe how rude some people can be to us employees. rrrr.

I know exactly what you are saying, I use to work the counter at Hardees for almost 5 yrs and Ill tell you what some of those old people can get pretty nasty and not to mentioned the troublemakers from the HS coming through the drive through ordering their food and then driving to the pickup window and start yelling because we screwed their order up ...
