astral projection?
I've become fascinated with it and would like to try it.

In short, astral projection is a conscious attempt to experience being outside of one’s physical human body, while being both alive and preferably awake at the time. It is an attempt to have a controlled out of body experience.

An example of this is the case where a patient on an operating table will report being able to see and hear the entire operation including the surgeons, from a vantage point above the table. Here the consciousness is said to have left the physical body, but will remain close.

Sounds like fun to me, I mean I always feel like I'm trying to get out of my body, not die just get out of it. The site link I posted above has a faq and one of the questions and answers was, how is an out of body experience most likely to be brought about? Deliberately by people trying to leave their physical bodies.
Thats probably why I've always wanted to try it's never happened to me before, but I do faint a lot and get dizzy real easy, but I doubt that has anything to do with it.

Actually,it sounds interesting,but I'm not sure I'd want to try it.I'm interested in near-death experiences,life after death,but some other paranormal topics freak me out.For example - when people's houses are haunted by evil spirits.I've watched shows about that and it left me with a really unsettled feeling.

No........But I think you just need to have more self confidence and spend more time trying to be content with who you are, rather than trying to find an escape.

It doesn't sound like it's for me. I'm not the adventurous type. With my luck, something would go horribly wrong....like a fly would be involved, and I'd end up half human, half fly. :eek:

Go to haunted places as well as cemeteries and bring a sound recorder along then record and perhaps "Call out to the spirits" People have said they have done this and later when reviewing the tape they were able to here faint voices... Peeps have even been on Coast to Coast AM and played the tapes..

Nope, I won't be doing any of that anytime soon. I'd have a hard time watching this stuff being done in movies.

my friend has messed around with stuff like that before she even says (well claims i've never seen her do it though) that she can move stuff with her mind
me i believe in Telepathy but my speciality is "connecting' to people when they arent around :)
