View Full Version : Nick@Nite Upfront 2003 -- Who's the Boss?, Full House, Roseanne, Fresh Prince, etc.
Pavan 05-08-2003, 01:49 PM Finally it feels good to release the Who's the Boss? info (see Who's the Boss? board for more info on that):
Nick at Nite Announces First Original Series, Fatherhood
New Acquisitions Include Roseanne, Full House,
The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Who’s The Boss?
New York, NY, May 6, 2003 – Nick at Nite, the home to modern classic TV, will premiere its first original animated series, Fatherhood, and add four sitcoms to its line-up over the next year, it was announced today by Larry W. Jones, Executive Vice President and General Manager, TV Land and Nick at Nite during the MTV Networks Upfront presentation held in New York today. Based on legendary comedian Bill Cosby’s best-selling book, “Fatherhood,” this original series will premiere in Spring, 2004 and be executive produced by Cosby. Additionally, joining the roster of Nick at Nite’s hit comedies will be Roseanne, Full House, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Who’s the Boss?
“Fatherhood is the perfect complement to Nick at Nite’s award-winning line-up of sitcoms like The Cosby Show,” said Larry W. Jones. “There is no better way for the network to venture into original programming than to team up with Bill Cosby, and with our new slate of programming, Nick at Nite truly is home to America’s favorite classic sitcoms.”
Nick at Nite experienced its most successful year ever in 2002 as the network recorded its highest audience levels ever among total viewers and in its target Adults 18-49 audience. The network has built its reputation and brand by providing a prime time home for America’s favorite TV series and beloved shows from the past.
The following shows will air on Nick at Nite:
Fatherhood (Spring, 2004)
Nick at Nite’s first original animated series, Fatherhood, will premiere on the network in Spring, 2004. The series is based on Bill Cosby’s best-selling book “Fatherhood” and will star David Alan Grier (In Living Color, Life with Bonnie, Dag). Cosby will executive produce the series for the network along with Charles Kipps (Little Bill, The Cosby Mysteries, Law and Order) and David Brokaw (Little Bill). The project marks the third installment of Cosby’s animation “trilogy” which includes Little Bill for Nickelodeon, Fat Albert, and now Fatherhood for Nick at Nite.
Each installment of the animated series will be a comedic, yet insightful journey that features the challenges, life lessons and confusions of family life. David Alan Grier will star as the voice of Dr. Bindlebeep -- a high school teacher, loving husband and father of three. Sabrina Le Beauf, who played Sondra, Cliff Huxtable’s eldest child on the beloved hit sitcom The Cosby Show, will star as Dr. Bindlebeep’s wife. Sal Maniaci, Vice President, Development and Production, TV Land and Nick at Nite, is overseeing the project.
Roseanne (September 21, 2003)
Roseanne, one of the most talked-about and celebrated sitcoms in television history will join the Nick at Nite lineup with a five-night marathon beginning September 21, 2003. Roseanne’s poignant, funny and true-to-life stories of a blue-collar family stars Roseanne, John Goodman and Laurie Metcalf. The show’s superb writing and talented cast have earned numerous Emmy, Golden Globe, People's Choice, and American Comedy awards, as well as the coveted Peabody and Humanitas prizes. Its huge popularity has translated into phenomenal performances in syndication, proving it is a classic, now and forever!
The show focuses on the life of Roseanne Conner, a blue-collar working mother with a big mouth, a big sense of humor and an even bigger personality. Roseanne not only tends to her home and takes care of her three kids -- Becky, Darlene and D.J. -- (Lecy Goranson and later Sarah Chalke; Sarah Gilbert and Michael Fishman) she also takes care of husband Dan (John Goodman) who was her high school sweetheart. She does all of this – in addition to working eight-hour days to ensure all the bills are paid.
Full House (October 6, 2003)
Full House was a popular family favorite from 1987-1995 and captured the funny, heartfelt moments of a close-knit family in San Francisco. When successful sportscaster Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) loses his wife in a car accident, he takes on the dual role of both father and mother to his three daughters: D.J. (Candace Cameron), Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and Michelle (Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen). It soon becomes difficult for Danny to raise the girls on his own so he enlists the next best things to a nanny -- his best friend, Joey Gladstone (Dave Coulier), and brother-in-law, Jesse Katsopolis (John Stamos). Joey, a stand-up comedian, and Jesse, a long-haired musician, move into the home and chaos ensues as the men learn the ins and outs of raising children -- from changing diapers to setting rules. As years pass, the two men adjust to their different lifestyles and begin writing advertising jingles. Danny becomes the host of a popular talk show with Rebecca (Lori Loughlin), who eventually becomes Jesse’s wife and the mother of their twin sons, Alexander and Nicholas.
Who’s The Boss? (June, 2004)
Tony Danza starred in this comedy which aired from 1984 to 1992 as an ex-baseball player and widowed father of a young daughter. When Tony Micelli (Danza) decides to move from Brooklyn to suburban Connecticut to give Samantha (Alyssa Milano), a better life, he takes a job as a live-in-housekeeper for Angela Bower (Judith Light), a high-powered advertising executive. The divorced mother with a son of her own, Jonathan (Danny Pintauro), had been skeptical about hiring a man as a housekeeper, but Tony proved to bring order to the chaotic house and serve as a father figure to Jonathan. Mona, (Katherine Helmond), Angela’s sexy mother, adored Tony and hoped for years that the couple would eventually fall in love. The running theme of the show was Tony and Angela’s evolving relationship, and in 1991, the two finally admitted that they had fallen in love with each other.
The Fresh Prince of Bel Air (September 13, 2004)
Grammy-award winning rapper and actor Will Smith settles into his throne as the Prince of Bel Air when the hilarious hit comedy, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, joins the Nick at Nite line-up beginning September 13, 2004. Amid the hilarious comedy of clashing cultures as the wealthy Banks family opens their home - and their checkbook - to their needy relative Will, the teen adapts easily to their indulgent lifestyle and reminds them that the simplest pleasures of family life can't be bought at any price.
Co-executive produced by music legend Quincy Jones, the NBC comedy aired from 1990 to 1996 and focuses on Will (Smith), a teenager from a tough West Philadelphia neighborhood whose mother sends him to live with his wealthy relatives in Bel Air, California. It’s a tough adjustment for the teenager at first, whose streetwise ways don’t seem to fit in with their ornate mansion, luxurious cars and live-in butler. Will immediately clashes with Uncle Phillip (James Avery), a pompous, successful lawyer who was raised in a tough neighborhood much like Will’s and enjoys teaching him lessons and catching him on his crazy shenanigans. Aunt Vivian (Janet-Hubert Whitten and later Daphne Maxwell Reid) is the mediator between the two, and Geoffrey (Joseph Marcell), the always-proper butler, becomes one of Will’s closest allies. Among his cousins, Will enjoys teasing the preppy Carlton (Alfonso Ribeiro) and spoiled Hilary (Karyn Parsons), while taking teenager Ashley (Tatyana M. Ali) under his wing and becoming her confidante. The brood expands with the birth of Nicholas “Nicky” Banks (Ross Bagley).
Nick at Nite, the evening and overnight programming arm of cable's highest-rated network, is the home of television's modern classics including The Cosby Show, Cheers, Three's Company, Wings and Coach. The 17-year-old network, available in 86 million U.S. homes, offers timeless favorites the way our viewers love and remember them - in prime time and restored to their original graphic quality.
Chocoholic 05-08-2003, 03:21 PM Does this mean they'll finally cut back on The Cosby Show, Three's Company, and Cheers?
I just hope they don't shove Wings into an even worse time-slot.
Freakzilla 05-08-2003, 04:29 PM They probably will put Wings in a worse time-slot. But at least we'll get to see the episode of Who's the Boss? where Tony sees Angela naked in prime-time next year. It's the best episode in the entire 8 seasons.
Family Guy rules!
~Tropical Punch 19~ 05-08-2003, 06:34 PM Whatwill becoem of Family Ties? Are they going to get rid of it? I hope not.
Czas na Zywiec 05-08-2003, 06:50 PM Wow, I wasn't expecting Who's The Boss? at all. I used to love that show but never got to watch it. I'll have N@N in August, so this is something nice to look forward too. Not too fond of Roseanne, Full House and Fresh Prince though. It's still way too early for them, but WTB it's a surprising delight. Maybe N@N is getting better?
Nah, couldn't be. ;)
ClassicTVHits 05-08-2003, 08:23 PM I was also surprised to see "Who's The Boss?" coming to Nick at Nite! I think it will fit in well with their other programming
I am dissapointed to see Fresh Prince and Fall House coming in the future. Though I understand Nick@Nite is now trying to focus on current series, I just don't find either of those series to be Nick@Nite worthy :).
and for Roseanne, I guess that could be considered a classic!
GoldenFamilyTies 05-08-2003, 09:48 PM More Bill Cosby related material??
All I can say is guuuuh....
:) :)
ClassicTVHits 05-08-2003, 09:52 PM Agreed.
It shall be interesting to see how an animated series works out on Nick@Nite!
ClassicComedyFan2 05-08-2003, 09:58 PM I can't say that I'm very excited about this. Compared to the AWESOME TV Land acquisitions, these pretty much pale in comparison, although I haven't seen Full House in a while.
I predict by 2004, Full House, Fresh Prince, Roseanne and Cosby will dominate the primetime while all of the others (yes, even Cheers) are relegated to the late/overnight slots.
ClassicTVHits 05-08-2003, 10:03 PM Very Good Prediction, I can definately see that happening!
The new shows coming to TV Land do some far more exciting to Nick@Nite's gains
tvfan 2 05-09-2003, 01:41 AM I hope they will move Family Ties on TV Land. At least it will get a better time.
ClassicTVHits 05-09-2003, 09:59 AM Family Ties on TV Land would be awesome!
It hasn't been on during a decent time slot in a while!
SBTB Geek 05-10-2003, 01:40 AM The "Who's The Boss?" news comes as a pleasant surprise. This makes up for the mal-treatment of "Charles In Charge."

I would love to see Family Ties on Tv Land, but it most likely wont happen. Nick At Nite is for modern tv classics like FT, while Tv Land is reserved for older classics from the 50's, 60's, and 70's. Most likely we'll just have to wait for another station like TNN, or TBS to pick the show up again.
Robert Tilton 05-12-2003, 04:43 AM Of the 4 shows it must be said that:
Who's the Boss is the most retro of them
And this disappoints Retro Man a little bit. For once a show gets up toward the 90s onward, I lose interest.
But Rosanne isn't too bad in the early Dan Conner days. I wonder how many episodes Nick at Nite will skip if moved to Cosby Time? My opinion is that Rosanne is decent for Nick at Nite; kinda like a Changeup, but let's see.
Full House I hope is just Nickelodian.
Who's the Boss is decently Retro; an 80's show I believe? Certainly its a more decent acquisition than:
Fresh Prince: This show strikes me as too hokey at times to be a Nick at Nite show. Certainly I don't know how much interest it'll draw for this particular demographic that N@N draws.
Of the shows Rosanne is watchable provided N@N doesn't dicker with it by skipping controversial eps, etc.
Who's the Boss is OK for Retro Man.
Full House is unwatchable. Too kiddy
Fresh Prince is right righteous comedy, but in the maelstrom of N@N shows I wonder where it'll fit...or if it will fit. We'll see as soon as its scheduled.
Amen.
*PinkLady* 05-12-2003, 01:56 PM Will they take Roseanne, Full House and Fresh Prince off some of the stations that show them now? If not, they're going to be way overplayed.
ClassicTVHits 05-12-2003, 02:02 PM I beleive when Roseanne comes to Nick@Nite ... N@N will get the cable rights to the series at night, and the Oxygen network can air it from the day. No other Cable Networks will air it.
Many Local Stations will still air the series though, since those airing rights are different from national cable.
So, yes it will be over played
I am not sure about Full House, but it would only air on Nick@Nite (at least during the evening/night)
douglasjc 05-18-2003, 12:47 AM Well Nick at Nite has made it's annual selections for the year. I am happy they have chosen Roseanne, Whose the Boss, Fresh
Prince of Bel Air. However, I do take issue with Full House, which
is not a classic. FUll House is worse then the Brady Bunch Variety
Hour. It was part of ABC Thank God its Friday shows which included Step by Step. The Writing was to put in mild terms below Kindergarden Level with equally annoying actors. Yes, I am hard
on Full House because I hold it response for helping to the sitcom genure to it's death bed.
Three'sCompanyrules 05-21-2003, 03:20 AM Well N@N has lost my viewership starting this fall. Roseanne shouldn't be on tv period, I don't care for Who's the Boss or Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and Full House is ok. Once N@N started to quite showing the classics, with only two classics on now, once these new shows come on it will be down right boring IMO. So once Roseanne come to N@N officialy that ends my viewing of N@N.
Kenichi 05-23-2003, 11:52 AM I've never seen Who's The Boss, so I'd like to see it. I've seen Fresh Prince, which is OK, I haven't seen Full House for AGES, so it will be great to see that, but I'm not fond of RoseAnne. I don't know about an animated Cosby Series coming to N@N, even though I love the Cosby Show, H.E.F.M is really pulling me away from it (it gets sickening after too much, but The Cosby Show is good once and awhile). I absolutely LOVE Cheers and Three's Company, but I don't feel like staying up so darn late just to watch TV episodes that I may have already seen. I think they should take off Wings and Family Ties (no offence to fans of those shows), since they aren't very funny to me, and aren't even in good time slots anyway. Maybe they could move them to TV Land is they are such 'Modern Classics'. Just expressing my opinion. ^_^;
I watch N@N every night, and by the end of the year, I'll probably only be seeing Cheers, Three's Company, Who's The Boss?, and Full House, since I'm not very interested in the other shows coming up. I dunno, my thoughts may change. Bye!
hazelfanatic 05-24-2003, 02:48 PM It's funny, you said that Full House writing was below "kindergarden" level. Actually, it's "kindergarten."
Thanks for making my day!
Freakzilla 05-25-2003, 09:13 PM Also, it's genre, not genure. I also hate Full House. I think Full House will fail on Nick at Nite because not many adults would watch that show. Hopefully, that will happen.
The other shows N@N is adding are better, if only because they're funnier than Full House.
(Stephanie drives a car into the kitchen.)
Danny: Stephanie, how could you drive my car through the kitchen?
Stephanie: Well, D.J. gave me a beer this morning. After drinking the beer, I thought I could drive. I was wrong and I'm sorry, daddy.
Danny: Whoa, you and D.J. have been drinking. You girls have grown up so fast. Pretty soon you'll be able to drink and drive legally.
(Big hug and awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!)

douglasjc 05-26-2003, 12:04 PM Yes, I made a spelling error and no I am no professional writer.
Yet, This still does not make Full House a good show.
alf8mycat 05-29-2003, 03:01 AM If N@N started airing Roseanne, Fresh Prince, Who's The Boss and Full House they'd have to change their name to WGN from N@N. Well, actually they will air those shows, so I guess they will change their name to WGN!
It will be nice seeing these shows at night I guess, since I do see these shows every afternoon on TBS, WGN and a local station.
What will become of Head of The Class and Perfect Strangers?!
Nez Rocks!! 05-29-2003, 12:11 PM I am glad that Full House and Who's The Boss? is coming to N@N.

It sure as hell seems like this will come to pass.

I agree. Like others have said before, the station might as well be called "Cosby at Nite." But I am looking forward to seeing Who's the Boss? again. I haven't seen this show for years and it is probably the only show that I will be watching on N@N.

I sure Hope Not, I love Family Ties but I'm really worried about Head of the Class, It is one of my favorite Shows and they haven't
Shown it as much as Family Ties. I just can't Believe Family Ties didn't make the lineup this year, that really sucks and will considerably Cut back on My Nick at Nite Viewing :(
PinkSlippers2203 07-07-2003, 04:55 PM OMG, I can`t believe Full House is going to be in the line-up!! That is so cool. I missed it ever since they took it off TBS.

Of all the posts in this thread, I agree with you the strongest. I think N@N made pretty poor choices. Roseanne is, to me, among the worst television shows ever aired; in addition, Roseanne is one of the most annoying people in existance. As for Who's the Boss, I'm indifferent, so no plus or minus there. Full House is an annoyance, but not a terrible one (I think John Stamos was the ultimate flaw of that show). Fresh Prince is goofy (and not in a good way), but I do think its a good thing to have a show with such horrible 90's fashions on the air; as a reminder of the horrors, if nothing else.
As for their own original show - Funny, isn't the concept of the channel something along the lines of "reairing shows that people liked in their original runs so that the fans of those shows don't have to be burdened with original programing."? In that light, it makes one wonder, why on earth are the running a NEW show (yes, NEW in big caps. Don't lose sight of the fact that IS in fact a new show just because of its animated nature and/or Bill Cosby is behind it)??? Modern TV CLASSICS, people! If I want original shows, I am well equipped to use my channel changing device, hit the down button a few times, and land on ABC. Jeeze.
Bit of a rant ( ), but I'm sorry, N@N is getting worse and worse. I'll take the good old days of I Love Lucy, The Munsters, and Bewitched, thank you very much. And Welcome Back Kotter...oh don't get me started. ;)

benjamoon 07-09-2003, 10:05 PM N@N has lost all the magic it once had. The shows they're airing are not even necessarily bad, but just rehashed TBS that have been on non-stop since their original broadcast run.... Also, N@N isn't creative or funny anymore. The viewer appreciation summer promos are beyond lame
Also - I read today that N@N is giving "Roseanne" a 7-day all night marathon. Undeserved treatment for that piece of crap show
Having said that, this is my prediction for their fall schedule with the recently announced times of "Full House" and "Roseanne" (see Classic TV Hits)
9:00 Full House
9:30 Full House
10:00 Cosby Show
10:30 Cosby Show
11:00 Roseanne
11:30 Roseanne
12:00 Cheers
12:30 Cheers
1:00 Three's Company
1:30 Three's Company
2:00 Roseanne
2:30 Roseanne
3:00 Cosby Show
3:30 Cheers
4:00 Wings
4:30 Coach
5:00 Family Ties
5:30 Kids Say the Darndest Things
For some reason, I see "All in the Family" moving (back) over to TV Land and "Perfect Strangers"/"Head of the Class" on weekends or not at all
DianeChambers87 07-09-2003, 10:10 PM :crying: sniff sniff...guess again
This is the information I got from pav:
I don't have the full line-ups for after the Roseanne Marathon (Sept 21-25) and Full House Marathon (Oct 6-9). I do know is that Roseanne will start airing 11 and 11:30 pm every night starting Sept 26 and Full House will air 9 and 9:30 pm Sun-Thurs, moving Cosby Show to 10 and 10:30 pm starting October 12. So starting October 12 Cheers will be moved somewhere for sure, possibly just 1:30 am. All this will be answered soon.

I don't "hate it" per say, but I don't find it the least bit relatable or funny. It's a crude, unrealistic, and dry way to look at family life. My family is not the cosby show, but thank God it's not Roseanne..
theanswerman 07-14-2003, 10:01 PM Yuck, I dont like hte new line-up
i like Roseanne, full house, and the fresh prince.... but htey are not really tv classics yet!!! They all just ended a couple of years ago. I like it how it is
The Cosby Show
The Cosby Show
Cheers
Cheers
Threes Company
Threes Company
The Cosby Show
The Cosby Show
That is prefect line-up they are all tv classics!!!!!!!
DianeChambers87 07-14-2003, 11:56 PM No lol this is the perfect tv. line up
9~Cosby
9:30~Cheers
10~Wings
10:30~Three's company
11~Family Ties
11:30~Perfect Strangers
and then after that if they want to start the line up from 12 to 3 again it would be perfect
Everybody's happy and cosby isn't played for 2 hours a night
GoldenFamilyTies 07-16-2003, 12:53 AM They prolly won't show half the episodes of Roseanne though due to content...
kimmy gibler 07-22-2003, 03:15 PM The line-up makes me feel old just because I remember when N@N used to show the old classics like I Love Lucy, Bewitched, I Dream of Jeanie, Happy Days, etc. Which...I guess that's why TV Land is for now. Thank god for that channel at least. With this new line up...it does make me feel old cause I watched these shows and grew up with them per se. Especially being the same age as the Olsen twins. It's just weird!
David 07-22-2003, 07:35 PM I am looking forward to Full House a lot, but I hope Three's Company either stays at a good slot or just moves to TVLAND.

[B]Full House (October 6, 2003)
I guess it will fit the schedule in the next 3 months.

I don't know; I love Family Ties, but I don't really want to see it on TV Land. I would prefer to see it on The Family Channel or TBS. I love TV Land too, but I love it because they seem to strictly play older classics, and I wouldn't want to see them spoil that.
musicradio77 08-16-2003, 01:43 PM When "Full House" comes to Nick at Nite in the next 2 months. I like to see the full opening theme that they put out by ABC from 1987 to 1992 in the 1st and 5th seasons. Not the dopey syndicated opening with the "old fimiliar friends just around the bend" garbage. That syndicated opening theme stinks.

Does that mean nick@nite is gonna air all the episodes then starting with the very first episode all the way to the very last episode or has full house been coming on nick@nite and its gonna have a different timeslot starting october the 6th and start with the episode that the show is up too with the new timeslot on october the 6th? Does anyone know?

Full House has never been on N@N. So, I would think N@N would start with the very first episode.
Gosh! You're on a roll. "Full House" will air the premiere episode. I saw it on the first half of the "Full Day of Full House" marathon since June on WB11. The show debut on September 22nd, 1987. Just more than week before "Lizzie McGuire's" Hilary Duff was born on September 28, on that same year the day before the second episode aired.

Yuck, I dont like hte new line-up
i like Roseanne, full house, and the fresh prince.... but htey are not really tv classics yet!!! They all just ended a couple of years ago. I like it how it is
The Cosby Show
The Cosby Show
Cheers
Cheers
Threes Company
Threes Company
The Cosby Show
The Cosby Show
That is prefect line-up they are all tv classics!!!!!!!
A few years ago? Full House ended in 1995, Roseanne 1996(?), Fresh Prince in 1995, that's not exactly a few years ago :)
I do think shows from the early to mid 90's are modern tv classics. :)

Are they doing a FH marathon? I wonder if they will do to FH like they did Wings, do a marathon, then when the marathon is over, they dont' get aired in order, during that run they skipped the episodes they aired in the marathon. I bet they will do that to FH. I hope not though, you miss to much when that happens.

Yes they are, I think for 3 or 4 hours Oct. 6th through 10th, then on the 11th it goes to it's 9pm ET/PT timeslot. I will defintely watch it. They will also replay the 9pm hour during the Midnight hour...

No they won't. The midnight hour is reserved for the freash, hip, edgy, never gets stale, Cosby Show!

It doesn't belong on Nick-at-Nite, but it is a hilarous show. It tackles real-life issues, I just recently began to watch it again(on my local FOX station they do between 2 and 4 hours a night) and I can't wait for it come to Oxygen, not sure I want to see it on Nick-at-Nite, they will probably edit too much...
musicradio77 09-05-2003, 03:09 PM For those of you would see the opening theme to "Full House", watch the full opening theme for "Full House" for seasons 1-5 (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/videoclips/fullhouse.mpg) and Nick at Nite will have it by next month including the full opening theme song. Dont hesitate to watch the shortened opening theme (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/videoclips/fullhouse2.mpg) in which TBS and WPIX had that last year. Nick at Nite will do the full ABC "Full House" opening as soon as it comes on next month. Thanks for everything! By the way in the full opening, the headshot of baby Michelle was temporary cut off.

That is understable because when I watced the those during it's first run, Michelle was not credited in the opening. She was credited at the end of the show. If you watch some of the eps you will notice that she is credited at the beginning and the end of the show.

Roseanne ended in 1997.
But still, I think shows that ran in the 90's (yes, even Cosby and Cheers) are too soon for Nick. I remember back in 1985 when Nick At Night started, all the shows were ones that ran in the 50's/early 60's. Hell, even in 1995, basically the entire schedule saved Taxi ran in the 60's and 70's. Yet in 2003, they're airing shows that were in first-run less than a decade ago. Nick used to be a "last resort for classic sitcoms" that ran years on TBS, WGN, USA and the sort... and then years later came to Nick At Nite, after people had really "missed them" for years. I mean, Diff'rent Strokes was on Nick 2 years ago, and it premiered on Nick 15 years to the month the final episode aired. Compare that to Wings and Roseanne's final episodes airing 6 1/2 years ago. At the rate Nick is going, I wouldn't be surprised if we see Friends and Everybody Loves Raymond and Frasier on Nick's schedule come 2005-2006ish.

btw... Thanks for making me feel old :( 1996-1997 may really be 6-7 years ago, but it doesn't feel it. Thanks for reminding me that I am getting older every day :(
Oh well, as long as I'm not "you mean it's been 46 years since Lucy ended? feels like yesterday" I'm fine for now, ha
balki4eva 10-31-2003, 12:27 AM What about Perfect Strangers?
balki4eva 10-31-2003, 12:29 AM Make that I WANT PERFECT STRANGERS!!!!!!!! Does anyone know if it will come back to TVLand or Nick, or go somewhere else? Or be released on tapes and dvds?
Brent88 10-31-2003, 03:21 PM It's not coming back...
Don't know about coming out on DVD. I'm sure it will eventually...

ya me too!^_^ i don't like the new shows that N@N is getting. I wish that they had three's company on at a decent time and not 1:00 in the morning. Oh well i'll just have to buy three's company on DVD insted of watching N@N. :D And by the way i think that N@N should put Mama's Family on. And TV Land should put Laverne and Shirley back on.
Montanya427 11-12-2003, 04:03 AM Not to knock Cosby fans but does anyone know if they are ever going to put something else in its place or at least something in place of one of the Cosby blocks, and please dont tell me another Cosby series will replace TCS.
I liked watching N@N when they showed 1 episode a night of a show and had more variety of shows to watch then this
2 eps of FH
2 eps of TCS
2 eps of Roseanne
2 eps of TCS
in 4 hours you only get a 3 show variety and then from 12 (CST) to 1 an hour variety then Roseanne again then 1 hour variety then they show repeats again of earlier shows that are already shown at a ridiculous time
Will this schedule change at all and soon? TCS and Roseanne are on every other channel, add Friends to the list and then you would have a regular channel and not a classic tv channel (there heading that way) All in the Family and Threes Company are the only classic shows they have on what happened to the other 70's and 80's shows? The direction they are going I will never see the shows I loved when I was younger, but rather the shows I see on any given channel at any time of the day.

Fatherhood... an animated series created by...
BILL COSBY
is coming to N@N in 2004!
DanaForever 11-16-2003, 10:19 PM I'm glad they're getting Who's the Boss. It's hard to find that show in reruns. It's funny how Nick is getting into the 90's. I remember when it was all Donna Reed and Ozzie and Harriet!
~*Belle N'Shawn forever~* 11-17-2003, 09:37 AM I like Nick At Night , they finally put my favorite tv shows on, I watch full House at 9 than Cosby Show at 10 and RoseAnn at 11 i ove em lol.. it keeps unbord at nights ... hehehhe
barwars 12-02-2003, 11:39 AM Im not looking forward to Fatherhood at all.
Hopefully itll crash in ratings.
I think the schedule will be like this for Fall 2004
9:00 Fatherhood
9:30 Fatherhood
10:00 The Cosby Show
10:30 The Cosby Show
11:00 Fresh Prince
11:30 Fresh Prince
12:00 Who's The Boss
12:30 Who's The Boss
1:00 Roseanne
1:30 Roseanne
2:00 Full House
2:30 Full House
3:00 Three's Company
3:30 Cheers
4:00 Wings
4:30 All In The Family
5:00 The Cosby Show
5:30 The Cosby Show
its definately not what I want.... but its what will happen.
I think N@N should take back the 8:00-9:00 hour and get rid of double takes.
Christmas Snow 12-03-2003, 06:55 PM I think they will do this:
9:Fresh Prince
9:30:Fresh Prince
10:Whose the Boss?
10:30:Whose the Boss?
11:Roseanne
11:30:Roseanne
12:Threes Company
12:30:Three's Company (Should be on a great timeslot it TVland (I hope))
1:Cosby Show
1:30: Cosby Show
2:Cheers
2:30:Cheers
3:Full House
3:30:Full House
4:Roseanne (Same episode from 11:00)
4:30:Roseanne (Same episode from 11:30)
5:Fresh Prince (Same episode from 9:00)
5:30: Fresh Prince (Same episode from 9:30)
Christmas Snow 12-03-2003, 07:09 PM If they put 2 cosby time slots when they will already be having a timeslot of fatherhood in 2004, and bump good shows like Threes Company and Cheers to 3 and 4 in the morning, then I'm going to start a petition. Whose with me?
Brent88 12-03-2003, 07:25 PM That will NEVER happen. Cosby Show will never be on 2 times a day on N@N. They will never get rid of the Midnight airings either.
barwars 12-03-2003, 09:01 PM Unless N@N does a complete schedule rehaul
(maybe returning to older classics)
The Cosby Show will ALWAYS be on before 1 in the morning.
I guarantee it.
Brent88 12-03-2003, 09:05 PM Did I mention Bill Cosby has part ownership of Cosby-at-Nite.
I'm serious.
Harper49 12-04-2003, 08:55 PM But whatabout Just The Ten Of Us on N@N?!
barwars 12-05-2003, 05:29 PM I read at thefutoncritic.com that FATHERHOOD is not coming until March now.... and it will only air Tuesdays at 9.
So my prediction for N@N in March is....
9:00 Full House (Fatherhood on Tuesdays)
9:30 Full House
10:00 The Cosby Show
10:30 The Cosby Show
11:00 Roseanne
11:30 Roseanne
12:00 The Cosby Show
12:30 The Cosby Show
1:00 Cheers
1:30 Cheers
2:00 Three's Company
2:30 Three's Company
3:00 Wings
3:30 Coach
4:00 Roseanne
4:30 Roseanne
5:00 Full House
5:30 Full House
Family Ties and All in The Family will be gone by then.
Not the best schedule.... but Its what I think will happen.
What i WANT to happen.... (that will make most people happy)
9:00 Full House (Fatherhood on Tuesdays)
9:30 The Cosby Show
10:00 Roseanne
10:30 Cheers
11:00 Three's Company
11:30 Coach
12:00 Perfect Strangers
12:30 Wings
1:00 Welcome Back, Kotter
1:30 Head Of The Class
2:00 Full House
2:30 The Cosby Show
3:00 Roseanne
3:30 Cheers
4:00 Three's Company
4:30 Coach
5:00 Perfect Strangers
5:30 Wings
but we'll see....
