Poor Roy Biggins gets such a bum rap on this message board....all of you ladies drool and pant over the Hackett brothers (and some of you even drool over Lowell and Antonio!), but NOBODY seems to be having hot dreams about Roy!

Well, I'm a straight, married guy, and I'm here to praise Roy (David Schramm) about a certain feature of his....HIS VOICE!

I'm a fan of old radio shows, and I love the classic voices of radio actors like Orson Welles, William Conrad and others, as well as those great old radio announcers. Just LISTEN to Roy's voice sometime...it has that rich quality that so many of the old radio veterans had.

OK, so the guy's no Tim Daly in the looks department....but next time you watch "Wings", just give Roy's great voice a listen!

aweeee, its not that we dont like Roy, we just love picking on him ... :lol: ... and Ive gave Roys voice a long listening to, with that annoying aeromass slogan commerical that he played over and over and over that made Joe go totally bananas in the episode "Joe Blows" ... :lol:

I like Roy's voice too! When he turns it into the "DJ" voice he does over the intercom.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind laying my head against his chest and listening to him talk, as long as he was being *NICE* and I didn't have to look at his belly!
