I have heard the movie really stunk. I just think that they should not have messed with a classic. I heard that Ray Walston was in it so that is the only good part of the movie.

The Addams Family, The Avengers, Dragnet, The Beverly Hillbillies, My Favorite Martian...the list of remakes goes on and on. But one work is all you need to describe the lot of them. Since this is a G-rated forum I will use garbage.

If you don't have any original ideas, you shouldn't be making movies. It's incredible that these bozos get financing for their dim-witted projects.

Still, it was shortly after the MFM movie was released that the original series came back to television. So perhaps the movie rekindled enough interest to cause this.
