I've never seen "The Nude Bomb" but I have seen GSA & GS95. I hear "The Nude Bomb" was pretty awful & Max acted differently, more coarser than in the series.

I was disappointed by GS95, but I loved "Wurst Enemies." It was a nice touch having Sigfried's daughter trying to seduce Zach. I disliked Andy Dick on this show, but I surprisingly became a huge fan of NewsRadio shortly afterwards.

The Nude Bomb was really bad...especially for those of us who grew up watching Get Smart...

Of course, Edward Platt had already passed away, and Barbara Feldon wasn't in TNB (I don't think)....so how good could it be...Don Adams was great as Maxwell Smart, but a large part of what made G.Smart so good was the entire cast, particularly 99 and the Chief...

The woman who co-starred with Don Adams in the Nude Bomb was very pretty (I forgot her name), but TNB just wasn't the same without the original cast...

does anyone remember that TV movie on, I think it was on ABC, sometime in the 90s, called "Get Smart, again"?

I dont remember that reunion. But I do remember GS95. It as a terrible remake!

it was set in the modern age, 1990 whatever, and was also set in Washington, D.C. Control was no longer around, as they bad become another organazation, as had Kaos. I forget most of the details, but Max & 99 were no longer working for them, but were still married. I just remember that this organazation that used to be Control, had some sort of trouble, and the guy in charge ordered them to call Max back into service. That's about all I remember, also that Hymie the robot was now working as a crash-test dummy somewhere, and they also had to get him back. But I remember it had Don Adams, and the actors who played Hymie & Larabie-Max walked into the old Control headquarters and found Larabie in the chiefs old office-he didn't know Control was no longer around!!!:lol: :lol:
Oh yes, they also had Barbra Feldon back as 99-yes they still called her that!:lol: It also had Bernie Koppell as Zigfried & also as Zigfrieds twin brother.
And, yes, Max still had his "shoephone". They also had Agent 13, I think it was, the one who Max kept finding in a mailbox, or fling cabinet, etc. And instead of the "cone of silence" this new organazation had the "hall of hush".


That's all I remember, as I haven't seen it in years (since it first aired).

Another thing about GS, Again, i found the newly created character of Feebish terribly annoying and got way too much airtime.

I thought the booth with the words appearing was ingenius. I also got a good laugh from that ridiculous "hover cover" sequence.

I havent seen TNB yet... but i agree doing something without the whole cast is hard to watch. ..

I saw the Nude Bomb in the theater when it came out. From what I remember, it did decent, but not great, business.

The movie itself was mediocre in my opinion. There were a few mild bad words thrown in to make it seem more modern and of course the ending shot of Max, the Chief and some others shows all of them naked from behind, albeit fleetingly. The story wasn't bad and it had some great co-stars (Rhonda Fleming in particular). What killed it though was the absence of Barbara Feldon. The chemistry she had with Don can't be replicated with a substitute, and it showed. When Paramount gets around to releasing the original series on TV (and they will) I wouldn't be surprised to see this released and put in the $5.50 bin at Walmart.

Get Smart Again was much better. Definitely worth a viewing if you can find it.

The less said about the Fox TV show, the better. Put it this way, I think Don's USA sitcom (Check It Out) was much better.

Get smart again This tv movie was great it was so funny except edward platt could not be there it was so much like the original series i thought, robert corvalis repised his role as larabee, Dick gaurdier came back as hymie the robot, and max and 99 were married and we got to see her as well, and bernie copel came back as conrad sigfired he palyed a double role in this one as his twin brother, also king moody reprised his role as starker sigfrieds 2nd, and John De lancie(Q from star trek tng) was in this too.

i think the funnyest line in this movie was when max was leaving the old control with larabee who didnt know control was closed and stayed there all these years, max said to larabee we have to save the world and we only have a week, and larabee says to max, good thing its this week because next week we move the clocks forward and lose an hour:lol:

Ok, the NudeBomb wasnt great, but it wasntTHAT bad...well, it was ok ...It DID have the funniest looking villain of all time though ( I almost died lauyghing when i saw that guy dressed with pantyhose all over his face AND body , with thimbles on all ten fingers , drumming on that table ) , not to mention the desk car and the room that was an elevator, not to mention the elevator that was a room @_@ I can't remember who Max was pared with, but i do remember ONE of the women in the movie Was Sylvia Krystel who played Emmanuelle in the X rated film of the same name.

As for GS '95, That was the only good ep as far as i can remember.

The Nude Bomb was horrible, but just being able to see Don Adams as Max one more time was worth sitting through, and I will and would do it again.

better. I agree re the 1995 Fox series: the less said, the better. No wonder
it only lasted for seven episodes!

I have get smart again on DVD, I only paid 3.00 for it at wal mart, but its not available anymore at wal mart, and this made for tv movie is totally in the tradition of get smart, it is so funny, 99 and max are still married and 99 is writing her secret agent memoirs and trying to get them published and at that same time max is called back into service by the united states intel agency, control doesnt exsist anymore but the building is still where it was before, the only one not in this movie is edward platt who of course has sinced passed away, but all the other famouse characters of GS reprise their roles, robert corvalis as larabee, bernie copel as sigfried dick gutier as hymie and even king moody as starker. and david ketchum makes a cameo as agent 13. I think one of the funniest lines in this movie and there are alot of them is when max finds larabee still at his post in the control building after all these years and max says to his team we have to save the world this week and larabee remarks to him, lucky its this week because next week we have to turn our clocks back and we lose an hour.
