If the Nets win tonight they should win this series in Five games. I really don't see the Celtics beating the Nets 4 out of 5. Samething with Detroit. They will probably win the series if they beat the sixers in game 2. Now if they both lose Game 2, I don't see Detroit winning the Series. Going to philly tied at 1-1 spells DOOM for the Pistons. But the Nets will probably win one in Boston and end the series in 6 games. But it looks like Detroit has it's confidence back and don't want to experience the feeling of going on the road tied 1-1 like they did against Orlando.

Well if it were two weeks ago I may agree with you, but after watching Portland almost come back from 3-0 in round one, and watching Detroit win their series after being down 3-1, I am now totally under the belief that no series is over until that final game. Especially with the Eastern Conference being so evenly matched, it's hard to count anyone out until that final game. Personally I think a two game lead means very little this day and age. My predictions are: Philadelphia in 7, and New Jersey in 6.

All jokes aside, Walker needs to be replaced. He ADDS nothing.

He has a right to what he said though. Fans taunting Kidd in last year's playoffs and calling him a wife beater was unnecessary and what that Boston Globe writer said was so stupid. I agree with Byron Scott. His reply to the question on that writer was great, he said, why doesn't that writer come and say it to his face, or Kidd's face?

I actually caught most of that TV interview between the Boston Globe sports writer and Bob Lopel (WBZ-TV). Much of what the writer said was completely inapropriate. Lopel at one point, said "you can't be serious." ... at which point the writer said that he was. Though I think the suspension may have been a bit harsh, he did do something wrong!

I dont agree with the boston writer but Byron Scott had no right, there are some rowdy fans everywhere...and to label boston fans crazy is a little much...sure Boston is a hard town to play for, but thats not fair to call us crazy

The main point is, Boston's style of play falls right into what the Nets like to do-RUN!!!!!!!!!-Boston jacking up stupid shots and missing and then the Nets are on the break.

I think the crowd got of of the game TOO early. It was only the first quarter and everyone seemed quiet when the Nets were up 6 or 8.

I think Detroit is gonna beat Philly. I'm pulling for the Pistons. They've been getting production out of Tayshaun Prince, Mehmet Okur, Chucky Atkins did a good job replacing Chauncey Billups in game 2. I saw what Byron Scott said about the Boston fans on the internet this morning. I posted it on the topic Solomon posted about what u think Swimfan85 of Boston losing the series right now.

Detroit lost last night 93-83 so we'll see what happens today when they play again. I think it's too soon for them to be playing again today after they played last night. They should at least get a day off & play monday.

I don't think detroit will win the series if they lose today. The sixers will have their confidence back and it's no ganruntee the pistons will win at home in game 5. So if the Sixers win today. It will be the Sixers and Nets in the Estern Conference Finals. You know I think the Pistons have to get to East Finals in order for Rick Carlie to save his job. See the owners Are looking At it like we are the number seed so there is no reason we shouldn't make it to the 3rd round. So The Detroit coach still has to win this series to be off the hook.
