Hey Diane fans, I'm watchin' "Cheers", and for some reason I remembered the episode where Diane wears sweats (I think) and has her hair in a ponytail and is feverishly smokin' cigarettes (later on), while tryin' to look up somethin'. She has all these books and everything, and it's seized her mind, it's all she can think about.

But I can't remember what the episode's about! I'm tryin' to find it an episode guide, but it's so hard to do that way, and I've yet to find it...

So, who wants to fill me in on the show here? :)

That was "Everyone Imitates Art." Sam had a poem published in a magazine from which Diane was rejected and since she was sure he plagarized, she was trying to find the original poem and prove it.

yes it was "Everyone Imitates Art", where she desperatly knows that Sam's published poetry, in by the way the journal she wanted her poetry to be published, was stolen from another author. So she spends a week consuming nothing but coffee and cigarettes frantically looking through volumes and volumes of books to prove sam plagerized, and Sam is having a great time watching until he can see it's become hazardous to her health so he takes her into his office and finally tells her that it was a poem that she had written to him in a love letter while they were going out. So then she's happy cause she's finally published, but then she becomes livid wit Sam for letting her go through all she went through that entire week. So she storms out of the office, only to come running back in about 3 seconds later grabbing sam and kissing him. He's confused, and the she goes you really do love me, You kept my love letters all these years. (this episode was during the 5th season)
