My grandmother is really sick right now in the hospital. She has a hernia on her stomache, and since shes so old and frail (shes 87 and 65 lbs.) they have to be extra careful with her. My Dad said its not looking good for her and dont know how much longer she will be with us.

Thats so sad. I will be sure to keep your grandmother in my prayers.:(

I will pray extra hard for her.

Oh I know!! Shes so tiny!! But, shes like half my height.. I mean.. shes gotta be like 4.5 feet if that! LOl. Everyone thinks shes so cute!!:lol:

I'm sorry that your family is going through this. I don't know anything about medicine, but a hernia sounds like something where the prognosis might be pretty good. I hope all goes well for you and that you keep us posted.

I will pray, too. My mother is 60 and she complains of hernias due to cancer surgery.:( So I know what it's like.

Thank you everyone! My parents went down to the hospital this morning just to keep her company, they should be back soon. She's doing pretty good today. Thank you everyone!

Thanks everyone!:D Shes doing a lot better today. My mother said she should be out of the hospital by the end of the week! She's not going to be getting the operation unless it becomes necessary. She wont be able to go back home though, theyre gonna have to put her in some kind of nursing home, but hey- its a lot better than nothing!:D
