OKAY I'M REALLLLLLLLY MAD NOW AIM wont let me log back in it keeps saying the connection is lost and to check my internet connection BUT I AM ON THE INTERNET its ALWAYS ON because i HAVE A CABLE MODEM
and OF COURSE MY STUPID BROTHERS NOT HOME
can anyone tell me WHY its doing this AND BEFORE you ask YES I TRIED RESTARTING MY COMPUTER ABOUT 20 MILLION TIMES!!

unplug the cable modem, plug it back in

are u running a firewall?

go into AIM connection setting and check to see its auto configure

WELL I just got this thing so i dont know anything about firewalls i'm guessing no i'm not running a firewall and where do I go to find this AIM connection thing?

right click, preference, connection, auto configure..but first if u havent, try to disconnected from the net then plug it back in..usualy that fixes whatever problem you might have

unplugging the connection didnt help it STILL doesnt work GRR okay so now do i right click on AIM i'm assuming

If you still cant figure it out, my best bet would be to:
A). Make a new screenname. For some reason, that always works for me.
B). Use AIMExpress.
