Here's what I remember... and some questions.

Was resurrection Mary the one with the woman whos disappears in the taxi and then later gets hit by a car that passes right through her?

Was The Gurdon Light the one where they see this strange light on the traintracks that moves around?

What was the one where this man is driving a motorcycle and the truck intentionally hits him and drags him on the fender(after two truck drivers start talking while he is lying in a ditch) he lost his arm or leg from what I remember.

In the opening credits of some of the earlier episodes there is this shot of a man in shadows with this huge burning building behind him. What was this all about? I never saw the actual episode.

One of the newer episodes had these men on army vehicles shooting at police in a violent shootout. At the beginning a man in full army attire came out and shot an officer in his car through the windshield. Do you guys remember it?

Were there any episodes with weird monsters? Like similar to Mothman? Which I never saw either.

This is mainly what I remember from my childhood, what a freaky show this used to be. Take care everyone.

That was most likely the case of Clarence Roberts (of Indiana), who was supposedly found dead in two different house fires, the first in 1970, the second in 1980. (The segment initially aired durig the 1988-89 season.)

There was speculation that he may have faked his death in an effort to get out of debt. And according to the UM segment, it was believed that he watched his house go down in flames (which might explain the shot you mentioned). His wife, Geneva, died in the 1980 fire.

One or two UM interviewees (including a nephew of Clarence's) believe he was killed in the first fire. But the majority of those interviewed for the UM segment suspect otherwise. Those people believe that he either died in the second fire, or might still be alive. But to this day, the case remains unsolved.

Thx. That might have been it. It seemed more like an apartment complex rather than a house, all I remember (and this was like 12 years ago) was something with quite a few windows burning in a huge fire with a shadowed man in front.

Also thinking back, I remember the episode where dreams predict the future, and that guy seeing the trailer come of of the car right as he was driving by. That was pretty eerie too.

I remember all of the segments that you mention except the one about the burning building. The segement about the motorcycle was just on recently, and as far as I know, there has been no update. I think it was a miracle that the man survived that experience. Your recollection is correct, as he lost a leg and some fingers. I believe it happened on some interstate in Arkansas.

The Gurdon light segment was also on recently. Some people believe that it is due to a fault line underneath the ground, which might cause quartz to rub against other quartz, therefore causing the electrical charge.

I also think that you are right about the resurrection Mary story. I think that she was in a cab, and then later seen by many people throughout the years.

There have, indeed, been some segments that involved reenactments of some buildings (such as an apartment) on fire. But I know that the segment about Clarence Roberts had a shot of a man in the shadows with a burning house behind him. So my feeling was that this was probably the segment you described.

Ah ok, that sounds good. Is there any site on the internet that might have a download of the opening credits?

The only site I can think of where you can download the opening credits is at Unsolved Mysteries Online (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/unsolvedmysteries.html), under the "Disclaimers, Themes, and Video Clips" section. You can download the audio and video clips of the opening and ending themes that are available.
