I was just going through my wings collection and I came across this 2 part episode that I had taped when it orginally aired but I dont remember watching or taping it, lol ... it was a shocker to me to watch Joe go over the edge

I liked the part where Helen is on the phone with the police calling about Joe. And Lowell is on another phone calling about his motorcycle, which Joe had ridden out on. Helen describes Joe and Lowell describes the bike.
Helen: "Hackett. Joe Hackett."
Lowell: "Davidson. Harley Davidson."
At first I thought that episode was a dream. Because it seemed so crazy. And it opens with Joe in a pool of water, thought to be dead.

I love that episode too. It was both funny and sad at the same time. I think it's one of Joe's best episodes.

This is a parody of the famous movie from 1950 called "Sunset Boulevard" which had actor William Holden floating in the pool at the beginning and end of the movie and narrating the story in between. Unfunny was the fact that he was dead and telling you what led up to that scene.
On a lighter note, you guys notice that all of the Wings show titles are a parody of either a movie title, play title, or popular quote? It's neat to see these as they are never listed in the opening credits.
