I was reading my "People" magazine, and it said that there is going to be a "Bewitched" movie! It will be like the tv show, except.. it's a movie. Nicole Kidman is going to play "Sam" and (if he says yes) Jim Carrey is going to play "Darrin." He hasn't made up his mind if he wants to do the project or not. Just thought I'd

I'm highly against this movie. I'm sorry, but I have a feeling it's gonna flop and I'd much rather have the actual show come out on DVD instead. Also, I have some kind of mental block against Nicole Kidman. Forgive me (to all the Nicole fans) but I think she's way to stuck up for the role as Samantha. I'd much rather see a sweet girl like Reese Witherspoon taking on this role. Just the other night I was watching 'Sweet Home Alabama' and notice the way she smiles, it reminded me of how Liz smiles. I don't know I'd practically rather have anyone else play the role than Kidman. Sorry, but thats just how I feel about the whole thing plus not all TV Shows should be made into big screen movies. Even with all the technology we have today we could never capture what the original cast and crew did. What they did was simple nothing more than pure magic.

I know how ya feel about Liz. Its the same way with Lucy when other people play her . I get upset, but hey... at least people who have never heard of bewitched will see it because of Nicole, then they will watch the show more? Who knows. But I know that it will not be a flop. Nicole will not allow it too be. And if it is.. you can chop my head of later for saying that ;).

lol..you know it's funny that you said the word 'flop' because if Nicole gets casts then I was kind of hoping it does flop. I'm sorry, but I just don't think she should get the part just because she wants it or because she's a big star. We need someone who can capture Samantha and in some cases Elizabeth's uniqueness. I don't think Nicole can do that, and yes I've actually seen her in a couple of things and I still don't think she could pull it off.

Forgive me I see that you're a fan of hers and probably half the board and if this was 'Sitcoms Survivor' i'm sure I'd be cast off the board for being a non-Nicole believer lol, but seriously I don't think any actor/actress should get a part due to their status in Hollywood or just because they want that part. It should go to the best person who can almost capture my I mean our Samantha. :p

That's funny I actually liked the Lucy movie, but see I'm not as uptight on who plays Lucy like I am with who plays Liz/Samantha because I love Liz more, but I guess it all depends on one's point of view.

Nicole Kidman said she REALLY wanted this part. She loves the TV as much as we do. Do you think she should still get it??

yes I do :) Shes a great actress-- she would do the part well i think! Shes already practicing twitching her nose LOL its so cute!

That's what I've been saying all along, man! Just because an actress says she loves tv and wants the part doesn't mean she should get the part. She should get it, if she can really capture the role. In this case, I don't think she can. She was fine in Practical Magic as Gillian Owens, but this isn't Practical Magic - this is Bewitched.

Practical Magic, by the way is 'practically' the only movie I'll watch with her in it because it has Sandra Bullock in it.
