With hockey season over much too soon in Toronto and with a long, long summer ahead until the next season starts, I was thinking of spending part of my summer writing a few fan fiction stories based on my favorite shows. I've already read a few stories by others on this board and I have to say that some of them are very good---especially the "Leave It To Beaver" ones and a few "Gilligan's Island" ones---and some are pretty bad (I didn't like the Brady stories at all!) But that's just my opinion and you might disagree, that's fine.
For my own stories, I've already thought of a few titles and some plot outlines but I haven't written a complete story yet. So what I'll do today is list what I've come up with so far and then you can vote on what you'd like to read about first. The one with the most votes will be my first story. Here's my proposed list:
"I Love Lucy"---"Lucy & Ricky Meet George & Gracie"---Four TV legends of the 50s meet for the first time and the women plot to outsmart their husbands in their usual wacky fashion.
"Bewitched"---"Darrin The Man's Man"---Endora casts a spell to make Darrin irresistible---to men!
"The Brady Bunch Meet The Partridge Family"---Shirley Partridge hires Jan Brady to tutor Danny with his schoolwork while their older siblings end up dating each other. I've always wondered what would happen if these two great families got together. It will be fun trying to find out!
"Gilligan's Island"---"Survival Of The Dumbest"---The castaways are picked to be contestants on "Survivor".
"The Beverly Hillbillies"---"Finger Lickin' Granny"---Mr. Drysdale tries to uncover Granny's secret fried chicken recipe.
"My Three Sons"---"Love Thy Sister-In-Law"---Robbie and Chip agree to trade wives for a week.
"Family Affair"---"The Real Mrs. Beasley"---Buffy and Jody try to imagine what Mrs. Beasley would be like as a real person.
Remember, you can only vote for one of these ideas. I can only handle one story at a time! Feel free to add any suggestions of your own while you're voting. Thank you and have fun!
