I just tried the New Live Wire (orange) Mountain Dew. It tastes like orange soda. Has anyone else tried, what do you think of it?

Nope I havent heard of that. Speaking of new drinks has anyone tried "Sprite Remix"? That is good stuff.

What is Sprite Remix? I haven't heard about it until you posted it.

I hope it will be better than the Mountain Dew Code Red. I love orange soda.

I didn't really believe that it was true. Probably just an old wives tale or something.

I tried the new orange Mountain Dew, I was pretty good.

I liked it. I tried the new Sprite too it was ok, but I liked the Orange Mountain Dew better.

I just tried the new Orange Mountain Dew today and I liked it, In my opinion it is better than code red. Now I have to try the new sprite and the vanilla pepsi.

I just saw an ad for it and it said it was for this Summer only! :eek: Is this true?

I don't drink Mountain Dew,because of the caffeine.It's too much for my anxiety disorder.Same with any colas,even though I know there is decaf cola,but it doesn't taste the same.

I've yet to even see the Orange Mountain Dew. I do like Sprite Remix though. I really like Pepsi Blue but...nobody here likes it. :( :p

Thank you. I've been trying for the longest time to think of Surge. That stuff gave me a headache everytime I'd drink it. I couldn't remember the name of it. Thanks.

I've tried the Mountain Dew Live Wire...imo it tastes just like any other orange soda, so if it just lasted for the summer I wouldn't die or anything. :)

MMMM i love Pepsi Blue! it's so good! i don't know what Sprite Remix is...is it only in the states? here we have sprite ice which is sprite with a mint twist--it's pretty gross. and i don't think the orange mountain dew's out here yet. but i like mountain dew code red a lot!

Alright, before I start in on my reviews of the 4 newest children of the cola wars, I want to make one thing perfectly clear. The dye (yellow 5) that is "Rumored" to lower a man's sperm count DOES NOT. The ONLY effect Yellow 5 has, besides making a drink more yellow-colored, is making urine more yellow.

Now that Uncle Seth's corner of Disgust is done, on to my reviews. This is on the 1-10 scale

Tropical Sprite Remix - Good Lord I hate this S**T. Tastes like the result of someone @ Coca-Cola (The Makers of Sprite) being on an Acid trip. I give it a 2.

Dr. Pepper Red Fusion - Once my favorite of the class of 2003, it's dropped down since then, solely due to the aftertaste (I can't stand it's aftertaste). 6

dnL (The Green 7 up w/ the Upside Down label) - I like this stuff. FWIW, even though they use the catch words to describe the various fruit flavors, the predominant flavor is Lime. And, since there are 0 other readily available lime drinks out there for me, that's good. I proudly buy this stuff by the case.

(Mountain Dew) Livewire - My new favorite. I didn't like it at first (Thought it suffered the PEpsi Blue syndrome of overcarbonation), but it's grown on me fast. Plus, it's the only thing besides a drink called Ski that can sufficiently wake me up in the morning (Those of you who have had Ski will know what I'm talking about). Plus, at least here, it's selling like, well, it's outselling every other drink available. "available in Summer 2003 only" my @$$. From some sources I have, PEpsi is making an absolute KILLING off the stuff. Expect it to continue for a LOOOOOONG Time. (An indicator of sales. It's selling more than ANY OTHER DRINK in my school. In a Mountain Dew Machine, it's taking 7 of the 9 slots [Reg MD and Code Red have the other 2 slots]. In another 9-slotter, it has 3 slots. And all 10 slots available are sold out within a day....

By the Way, Pepsi Blue is hereby Christened the "Clear Pepsi" of the new decade. Although quite popular with some people (ME, in both PB and CP's cases), it's generally hated by both, and dies a slow painful death over the course of a year (The last bottles of Pepsi blue should disappear around early 1994...oddly enough, 10 years to the day of the Crystal PEpsi [Clear Pepsi] disappearance
