The Internet and Cable are both very powerful to me. The Internet has ebay and sitcomsonline.com, and cable has TV LAND and ESPN. So I would say it's a tie for me. I used both about the same amount of time.

Which is more interesting? The Internet. It fascinates me.

Which do I like more? The TV.

I use both at the sametime. Both cable and the internet has the sane effect on me.

Both the same, I'd die without either of them.

I like em both but if I was forced to give one up it would have to be the internet because I've lived without it before but I've never gone without TV.

My life would be miserable without either TV or the internet so I have no idea what I'd do if I had to give one of them up.
TV is a huge form of escapism for me. If I couldn't engross myself in various shows and movies then I'd have nowhere to hide.
The internet is my main method of communication. I don't get on with people I know - they're not the same as me and they don't understand me. On the internet I can find people who like the same things as me and who understand where I'm coming from by just clicking a few icons or typing a few words. I'd feel isolated if I couldn't have that.
Basically, I'd be screwed without either TV or the net! :(

well, not cable ("theres a reason the cable is buried, its dead" -sattelite all the way!) but TV in general.

I need both, but since I only have a limited number of channels on cable I'd rather have the internet 'cause someone out there sooner or later is gonna put my shows up for download anyway. ;)

both are probably equal to me, but I would have to say that I spend more time watching tv.

I love both the same. My family got Time Warner Digital Cable in San Diego a few years ago and it is great. I have TV Land, Goodlife, The Hallmark Channel, Boomerang, The Biography Channel, and a whole bunch of movie channels such as Encore, Westerns, Love Stories, True Stories, 20th Century Fox Channel (which shows movies produced/distributed by 20th Century Fox), Action Channel, and much more each available in both eastern and western feeds.
The internet in my house is great, too. My parents recently got Road Runner and it leaves nothing to be desired. It is very fast (but not really as fast as advertised in ads).

I think both of them are pretty cool. I have a lot of great cable channels that I like, but most of my friends are on the Internet and I use it to look up information a lot.

I do like both but, I have to pick the Internet.

Only because cable repeat alot of the same movies over and over and over.

Nothing really in my opinion has been GOOD on TV since the 90s :(

Internet by far. Cable TV bores me now. I haven't watched television in years.
Watch all of my favorite programs on my computer.

I currently use the internet more than I watch cable TV. Having said that, Turner Classic Movies was useful for me recently. On January 29th, TCM ran the Bowery Boys movie Loose In London, I recorded it on my DVR and then transferred it to a DVD. My previous recording of this movie had mediocre video quality, so this recording from TCM is a nice upgrade.

Both; although I love Internet more these. If only Cable TV channels had more variety like they were between 1981 and 2008, it should been better
