to all the honeymooners fans......go to www.tvshowsondvd.com register, and vote for the honeymooners and the jackie gleason show. when the results get to a certain percentage, they send the results to the studio that has the rights. when i voted, the honeymooners were a sad 568th on the vote-percentage list and the jackie gleason show was 1210th. all i know is that MPI doesn't have the rights to the classic 39 - i received a response from them.....i've heard that 20th century or paramount has the rights, or even cbs still owns the rights.....i've written and have gotten no response.

for those interested....if you go to the canadian columbia house, they have the classic 39 on dvd. i've read where columbia house (US) had them, but i couldn't find them.....found them on the canadian one - pretty sure the US & Canada use the same dvd code --- but i've also heard that the columbia house honeymooners dvd's are poor in quality.....so buyer beware.
