Why I hate the summer

1.TOO HOT
2.Bugs
3.TV Season on break
4.No football or basketball
5.thunderstorms
6.Uncomfortable sleeping weather
7.Higher eletcric bill
8.Baseball is only sport on

Wow, Solomon, we finally have something in common! :) I can't stand the summer either, although I do love a nice, summer thunderstorm. But other than that, summertime stinks.

I'll add:

9. It's boring

The only thing I disagree on is the comment you made about baseball. But it's a matter of you hate it and I like it so...



Anyway, watching TV and playing video games all day gets boring after a while. I'll get another job this summer to see if it helps this year.

When i was younger i felt different but now I cant stand being in humid weather. 60 to 80 degrees is fine, 85 to 100 is a no no.

Yep, I hate summer. It just gets too damn hot. I also agree with what you said about the bugs, Solomon.

I don't really like the summer either. The only good thing is that there is no school and even that gets kinda boring

NO RAINNNNN, its not that HOT, less kids at work and DID I MENTION NO RAIN?? and usually during the summer is when I go see my Aunt in HB California which there its not that hot either :cool: :cool: :cool:

i love summer- hot but thats what the pool is for, no school, actual free time w/out so much stress

The only good things about summer are warm weather, no physcis homework, and hot tubs. :D

UGH! Summer sucks, but for some reason Im looking forward to it. Im gonna start tanning again plus I have a pool, but other than that it sucks! Thank God for AC's! Spring sucks too- its not cold enough yet not really hot and it just plain sucks. A perfect day to me would be partly cloudy and 56 degrees. My fav. is the fall.

I used to love the Summer,but now,I have an intolerance for really hot temps.My favorite seasons are Spring and Fall.I have an intolerance for when it's too cold,so I'm not too fond of Winter,either.

I Love Summer Myself. Its my favorite season. Yes it can get hot and Bugs are annoying, But theirs just this feeling in Summer that makes you enjoy it. Plus The Summer has

1. 4th Of July (I Love Fireworks)

2. My Birthday

3. BBQs

4. No Snow!!! (I Like It Around Christmas But After That It Gets Annoying)

5. Can just go outside without having to put on a Coat

6. Warm Weather. I Like being Warm....Not Hot, But Warm. Around 75 Is perfect

7. TV Season May be on Break, But i dont really watch Much Network TV Anyway. Its filled with crappy Reality shows. I Usually just watch TV Land.

I like the heat, but I hate it when it's like, Oven heat here in Oklahoma City. Miami has a different type of heat. I like that kind of heat. I like L.A. heat too. Oklahoma City heat is the worst tho.

I hate summer. I hate the heat. My favorite season is fall, then spring and winter.

I like summer for the simple fact that there's no school, but it's so freaking hot and I can't find a cool place in my house, even when the AC's on.
I like cold, so winter doesn't bother me too much. My favorite seasons are fall and spring.

i like summer and spring. i hate cold weather cause then i cant go barefoot.

i luv the summer. i can stay up late and sleep in. its my birfday. it rains. i can wear skimpy clothes. no rules.

i like winter and summer... i dont really like fall or spring...

Solomon, I agree wholeheartedly with you! I don`t like the extreme heat and humidity and the only thing I actually don`t mind about the summer is the swimming and thunderstorms, rain....:)

I am with you with only one modification... I hate Spring too. I love the Fall and Winter. I live in Las Vegas where the Spring is a lot like Summers in other states and the Summer is scorching hot! Not only do I hate bugs (especially waterbugs) but like you said it's hard to sleep and you always need to run a fan or two (or three or four) as well as an air conditioner just to keep cool.

The only other thing you have there I would disagree on is thunderstorms. I love thunderstorms! We live in such a dry, dusty desert that we dance and revel when it rains. In fact, I can't honestly remember the last time we had a lightning storm!

Well thunderstorms are kind of dangerous. I always make sure i'm inside when they occur.

Summer is my favorite season. Spring is a pretty close second. I've always lived in Washington, so summers here aren't too hot and humid for me. I have a high tolerance for heat anyhow. I see myself living in California or Florida in the future. And my favorite sport to watch is baseball, so that's a huge plus. There really isn't anything I can think of that sucks about summer, except for bees. Oh, and it's pretty lame when you live in a house without an air-conditioner--which is my current house.

To answer the rest of this, I absolutely hate the fall. I guess because summer is coming to an end, and I associate fall with the start of school. By the time it's winter, I'm used to the short days, poor weather and school, so winter is a little better. The whole month of December helps too, because that's Christmas time.

and i to could see myself living in California PREFERABLY Anahiem or Huntington Beach ANYWHERE but Oregon I HATE it here

I love Summer! Although I don't love it as much as I did when I was a kid. When you're a kid you get Summer off from school. When you work full-time you no longer have that luxury. The best things about Summer are:

1. The weather is generally better (bear in mind I live in Scotland and our weather is usually always bad!)
2. BBQ's - I love the smell of a BBQ (even though I generally don't get invited to them! :lol: )
3. The days are longer - it's still daylight when I get home from work so it doesn't seem as though the whole day has been wasted
4. It's difficult to remain depressed when the sun is shining
5. It's warmer so I don't have to wander around the house with my parka and about 5 different layers of clothing on!

Winter sucks cos it's way too cold, you get power-cuts, the adverse weather conditions screw-up my digital satalite TV signal and I invariably end up getting hit by at least 2 bad cases of flu! Also, Christmas and New Years occur in the winter and I can't bear either of them. And - if you still class February as winter - I have Valentines Day to add to my "Why I Hate Winter" list!

Summers are wermish. The best thing about them is that you don't have school, but that gets boring. Here it gets really humid in the spring and summer, especially when it's going to rain. Ick. When I lived in Oklahoma, it was hotter but it wasn't so humid. So I prefer winter over any other month because I love the cold. Werm.

Its been 90+ here,quite aweful........... Those other seasons you mentioned are easier to deal with!
