just wondering does anybody know what special features are going to be in the First season DVD? Like for example are they going to have bloopers? I know that there is only 20 MORE DAYS UNTIL CHEERS DAY AND THE DVD COMES OUT But lol........i can't wait...hehe!

this one? NBC. com, its the fraiser episode "Don Juan in Hell" guestarring Shelley Long as Diane, Bebe Newerth as Lilith, and Rita wilson as Fraiser's mom.

you know whats funny, lol ok that Fraiser episode is called "Don Juan in Hell" but there is a Cheers episode called "Don Juan is hell" Which is when diane does her report on Sam's sex life, and then determines that he'll end up an empty and lonely man... (lol sorry im a dork!)

I ordered mine a few weeks ago and it shipped last tuesday. I ordered it from deep discount DVD.com and their orders usually take 6 days to get to my house. This is day 6. Where the hell's my DVD!:mad: :D

lol if your talking to me i just find them! lol i have in my computer 245 pics more or less (i haven't counted them in a while) and they're mostly from the first 5 seasons. I have maybe 20 -25 that are from the last seasons

i work at target and in our street date list which lists everything that comes out in electronics, until january 1, there is no cheers volume 2 listed :( so i dont know what they are doing :confused:

I'm expecting season 3 sometime around july.

I'd like to see the DVDs come at a faster rate than they currently are. Paramount released the the entire run of Star Trek: The Next Generation in a one-year span. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine followed suit the following year. I know Cheers ran longer than TNG and DS9 did, but I don't understand why Paramount can't release Cheers at a quicker pace. It is, after all, their most successful comedy series of all time.

can you guys imagine where we'll be and what we'll be doing when the final season comes out on dvd....it is so far away....i think i will be in college

I got the 1st season at Suncoast for $50 (I seriously need to find a better place to buy than Suncoast, those highway robbers :cuss: ) a few days ago and now I'm EXCITED for the 2nd season!!! GET HERE ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They have been playing them at nick at nite...just at 4:30 and 1:30 in the morning I hate it! The second season is by far my favorite...my second fav. is the 11 and then the 4th

11th is the best.... but after that I dont know.

Like Frasier, the 10th definately wasnt the best.

I don't know what they are waiting for. It doesn't take that long to transfer the videos onto a DVD. I think they are just waiting to get everyone excited and big fans like us will run out the first day and go buy it. I can't wait becasue the second season has to be my alltime favorite but then again i'ma huge diane and sam fan.

Frasier is my second favorite show.

Which means come January.... Ill have 46 episodes to tune into.

For the second time in a row...i .....grrr...insisted on pre-ordering the dvd, thinking that it was going to come out in the 40s in Target.....Then TODAY I find out that it is 32.99 cause my mom went there this morning....and I'm getting it for 39.99.........to add to my bad luck.....the shipping company is delayed (the bookstore guy just called me)...they'll have it wednesday.

And I probably have myself a little marathon tomorrow afternoon.
Which works out nice.... its suppossed to be terrible out anyways.

And by the end of the weekend.... Ill have probably seen them all.

I never pre-order anything unless something free comes with it.
Actually.... Ive only pre-ordered one thing in my life -- and that was a video game that came with a free game if you preordered.

I've preordered the last 3 Zelda games- the 1st one for the n64 in 1998 so I could get the golden cart, the 2nd one, also for the n64, in 2000 so again that I could get the golden cart and the one for the GCN in 2003 so that I could get the free bonus disc that came with it. :D

Hmmm....I wonder how much it'll be at Suncoast tomorrow. I have a $15 gift certificate, plus $20 in cash. I'll probably end up buying it at Target tomorrow. :)

I was never really a Cheers fan 'till recently, but TV Land made me a convert.

So, I picked up the 3 box set gift pack recently. It was cheaper than buying the three sets separately.

I've gotten through season 1, and just started season 2.

I'm shocked at how good the picture is. It's always so bad on TV.

The extras suck for the most part, but what do you expect from Paramount (unless it's Star Trek)?

Now, I really want an announcement on Season 4.

I love the blooper reel on the Season 2 set. They need to have more of that. I agree, the extras really weren't that great. Oh yeah, I just remembered. The bar tour on the Season 3 set was awesome, I enjoyed that. :D

Meangya...I just remembered the same thing happened with me and the Season 3 set. I made the mistake of preordering it...They didn't get a delivery of til til A WEEK LATER! :cuss:
