what do you all think if we made a chatroom expecally designed for the fans of Wings?

Sounds like fun...as long as somebody like Carlton Blanchard doesn't show up!

Carlton: "Why do they call it a chatroom?" "It's not really a room, and nobody is chatting, they're typing!"

Antonio: "....................i don't know."

Carlton: "If there was such a thing as a real chatroom, how many people do you think could fit in it?"

Antonio: "....................i don't know."

Carlton: "If you were bit by Snoopy, what kind of drugs would they give you?"

Antonio: "....................i don't know, please go away."

I don't think I'd want to see Lewis Blanchard, Sandy Cooper, or the Bob's Donut guy in a chatroom either :D

I wouldn't worry about it....If things got out of hand, we could always get Officer Colleen ("OUTSTANDING!!!!") to break it up!

"Bah! You are a DISGUSTING old man and I'm leaving. If you tell anyone, I'll hunt you down like a dog and kill you!"

I love that quote from Antonio when Blanchard told him he had a foot fungus as Antonio rubbed his feet.

Blackbeard, I hope you're not self-conscious because of your lack of hair! My boyfriend doesn't exactly have a full head of hair but he's good to me. I'd rather have a balding guy who treats me good, then a guy with all his hair who treats me like crap!!

Nantucket Wings, a chatroom? What an awesome idea!! Just lead me in the right direction.:D :talk:

Right....remember that beauty is only skin-deep and eventually fades.

I'll bet that if "Wings" had continued on NBC with new, first-run episodes, in a few years you'd see Joe Hackett turning into another Roy....overweight, hair slicked down, wearing a cheesy mustache and loud colored sportsjackets.....

I hear that that's how all private airline owners eventually end up looking!

the url to the chatroom is posted ... :) ... I put it as a sticky topic so it will always stay at the top

I agree, looks don't mean squat unless you have the good personality to match. I do think proper hygeine and grooming habits are important though.

Proper hygiene and grooming habits, huh?

Well, I guess that that takes Sconset Sal out of the running!

Pilot Guy, don't forget, in a few years, Joe would probably be wearing Sansibelt slacks like Roy, too. In the words of Brian Hackett(I think in the very 1st episode) "whoa, sansibelt slacks. Wow, you miss 1 issue of GQ and the fashion world passes you by."

come to CT and you can collect, by the way I am 48 and my 9 year old daughter calls me B.O.G. because of the small spot on my head. The hair is salt and pepper but a little snow on the roof doesn't mean there's no fire in the furnace. Just ask my soon to be ex wife

Damn it, Blackbeard, you tell'em!! Oh my God, it didn't even dawn on me that people might think that when I put the name Phoebe as my user name. I totally forgot that Phoebe was Bob's wife. I had another username on another message board and it had to do with my occupation(I rather not say what that is right now) and somebody on that message board started trashing me about something I said and trashing what I do for a living. I quit going on there because I'm thinking that I don't need this from anybody!! Actually, Phoebe is one of my dogs' names, one of my dear sweet dachshunds. I have 4. I named her after Lisa Kudrow's character on Friends. Sad, I know, but I wanted to name her from a TV show that I watched and liked and I didn't want Monica or Rachel for my dog's name.

Ooh, I like salt & pepper hair. I think Jay Leno looked better now than he did when he was younger!! :eyes:   :ducky:

phoebe I have a minnie and her name is Sabrina, she will be three this august, weighs 15 lbs of which 12 must be her heart because she has so much love, my ex kept our sheperd but I wouldn't give up my baby. I am trying to post a picture of here and the "Bald Old Guy" high school class of '72. by the way Phoebe is my favorite on friends

I love that picture!! My parents had a black doxie named Heidi who just died about a month ago at 12. I, too have a mini named Twinkie who we got at the animal shelter when she was 8. She's now 15 and Twinkie was her name when we got her. Got Phoebe from a litter when she was 10 weeks old. She's 4. My last two, Penny & Missy, I found as strays. Missy isn't really a doxie, she's really more of a springer spaniel/papillion and she's black & white and the last one to join our family. So when I took her to the vet, since we already had 3 doxies, the vet just put her down as a doxie, too. I think Penny is 5 and Missy is 3. They are all so great!!

Just got done watching the unbearable Celebrity Jeopardy. I love Jeopardy but when the celebrities come on, it's so aggravating that they can't answer the simplest of questions. Or I should say, they can't question the simplest of answers. That's why I love when they parody Celebrity Jeopardy on Sat. Night Live.:happyface  :happyface
