Hi,

I too love that theme. It was so classy and sexy.. There were so many similarities between Inger Stevens and Elizabeth Montgomery. When you think of it. I just played the theme over and over. I miss them both very much. What great shows we had as kids!!!

I'm sorry in answer to your question. I don't know where to get that song. I guess it was from the show. Not really available.

...the first was used during the first two seasons (1963-'65). The second was the "bossa nova" version in the final COLOR season. I believe it was credited to George Duning.

I believe the bossa nova version of "The Farmer's Daughter" theme you are looking for was composed by Dave Grusin. He's done dozens and dozens of TV shows and movie soundtracks. I would think he's released an album or two over the years of his work. Maybe "The Farmer's Daughter" is one of those!
One of my favorite themes Dave Grusin performed is "The Ghost & Mrs. Muir" theme song. It's a great one, too!

I love Bossa Nova! There were two versions of this theme: 1 where Katy(Inger) is looking very shy and 2) where she looks at the camera and then we see her profile. Mickey Sholdar told me that, from what he remembers, Screen Gems wanted to make Katy more sophisticated once she married the Congressman. She even lost her Swedish accent.
