My thoughts on both movies are ........................

Steven in The Shining: Very good acting, 2 thumbs up for sure ... although its a horror movie it was also a sad movie, because of 2 reasons, 1, Jack turned againest his wife and son and 2, he died at the end

Tim in The Storm of the Century: Same as Steven in The Shining, very good acting and gave it 2 thumbs up (I own both movies on dvd), and like The Shining it had a sad ending, Tims characters wife had to give up their only childs life to save their town and their way of lives, him and his wife (in the movie) called it quits shortly after

I didn't see either one. I'm not much of a movie person, especially horror movies.

On the topic of Stephen King, I did both read and see The Green Mile and it is an incredable story. I prefer the book though, but the movie was pretty good.

Since I think both Tim Daly and Steven Weber are actors that never got the credit they deserve, I naturally felt they were good in both. It was a tall order to ask Steven to reprise the roll Jack Nicholson made so famous.

Tim Daly did a TV movie several years ago where he played David Koresch (sp?) from the Waco, Texas incident and he was outstanding. He might of even got an emmy nomination for the performance.
