On LC, what does Woolery mean on the commercial breaks when he says "2 and 2"?

2 minutes and 2 seconds, I believe. It had something to do with 2 seconds of black going out and coming back from commercials and 2 minutes of commercials, I think.

When I originally watched it it never was that way. Maybe he meant something else..

It stands for 2 minutes & 2 seconds; that was during most of the original version.
