I came across a website thats geocities.com/artredmusic and the web page was similar to the UM official website. They had a section called upcoming stories which the official website doesn't have. It was about a band from Allen Park, MI that over an 8 week period disappeared without a trace. A year later the drummer (presumed to be dead) reappeared and so on. It sounds like such an interesting story and I just assumed the web page was not very recent but I don't remember ever seeing this story. Have any of you guys seen this story and if so can you tell me more about it? Thanks!:)

Hmm, that's odd. I live about 10 miles from Allen Park, Michigan and I don't remember hearing about anybody vanishing.
Maybe I have been under a rock or something.

I'm from MI too and I've never heard about this either. When did this happen?

I don't know if this is a reputable website or if what they say is accurate but you can look at it on www.geocities.com/artredmusic and read what they wrote about it. I'm not sure of the exact dates, but the drummer who returned, his name is David Saladin and it said he disappeared in the Fall of 2001 and returned 1 year later so if this story is true it hasn't happened very long ago. Let me know if you find out anymore. I tried to search a little bit on the internet the drummers name and the town but didn't have any luck.

I wish Im wrong but i think this UM site is a hoax, the text are so confusing, the picture of one of the missing members is just useless, and all the links (except Lifetimes ones) arent working, URL is about art & music, it doesnt say nothing about UM.
And the disapearence of an entire band would have gotten a lot of media attention dont u think?

I agree with FanfromES that there is something fishy about this story. Like I stated previously, I live in Michigan and have heard nothing about this on the local news or anywhere else.

This site is most certainly a hoax. If people are going to go to the trouble of creating a fake website, one would think that they would also take the time to use proper English grammar and style.

Thanks for the info guys! I did think several things on the site were odd and confusing and a lot of grammatical errors. It even said the air date of this show was August 26, 2002 and when they were describing one of the stories they mentioned about two wooden crosses and pictures of the girls were placed at the site where the bodies were found and later their pictures were taken out of their frames and that was from the case of Jennifer Lueth and Diane Shawcroft. It certainly is a strange website!
