Another great scene in the "Divorce, American Style" episode was at the wedding reception....When Lowell was talking to that obnoxious INS agent.

Lowell asked him if he really was hired to seek out illegal aliens and the agent proudly said, "Yes, that's what the government pays me to do"....

Then Lowell asked, "Have you ever been aboard their Mother Ship?"

The look on that agent's face as he slowly inched away from Lowell was HILARIOUS!
It reminded me of those old "George Burns & Gracie Allen" TV shows when Gracie would say something really "out there" to a stranger, and the stranger would give her this horrified look as they tried to get away from her.

That INS agent was SO snotty and smug....and Good Old Lowell was the ONLY person there who could get that agent to lose his cool!

WAY TO GO, LOWELL!

I saw a Burns and Allen show on TVLand this morning and I think a conversation between Gracie and Lowell would be priceless. Just thinking about it makes me laugh.:rotflmao:

I know i've said it before, but I'll say it again: Why can't we have more intelligent shows like Wings on the air? Other than Scrubs, ER, The Simpsons, and a couple of others, I avoid current network TV.
