Apparently Shelley Morrison is in more trouble with the shoplifting charges than we have thought. She has now been charged with a felony offense because she stole more than $400 worth of stuff.

It is now news on the Yahoo site under the news column: "Will and Grace star arrested on shoplifting charges"

I'm trying to get more info on this but I have a feeling they aren't going to tell me anything we don't already know.
I really hope she's innocent of this.

When I heard about Shelley Morrison being arrested for shoplifting and now reading that it is now a felony crime surprised me.What I am wondering is this??? Why would she shoplift??? Surely she has the money or she wouldn't do such a thing. $400.00 worth of stuff seems like a lot. They didn't ever go into detail of what she stole,but I'm sure that Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood or Extra will be on the ball on this one. Since that this is her first offense,maybe they will give her probation and/or community service. But since this is a felony crime,that leaves some options wide open. I hope that Shelley is innocent of all charges,she is a very funny lady,always liked her on The Flying Nun and the way she tried to speak English on that show.

I haven't been able to find out much more about her arrest-no one is really telling me anything I don't already know.
She's accused of stealing about $500 worth of jewelry from a May's department store.

shelley is to be charged with a misdemeanor, not a felony. the courts are bringing it down from a felony because it is her first offense.
I've also heard that there is video servaliance tape but I didn't get that info from a credible source so that may be a rumor.

Didn't people learn from Wynonna Rider's mistake???
