Wasnt this show one of the number one shows on TV LAND?! I thought it was. Why did TV LAND stop showing it? Did they lose the rights or just pull it to make room?

TV Land lost the rights to The Love Boat at the end of May. I don't think it was because of bad ratings, because it was doing well in it's 8:00PM/Eastern time-slot, when it first started.

If they didn't lose the rights until the end of May, I wish they had KEPT airing it until the end of May. That way we would have had a chance to tape the show several more times. I don't like the shows that took its place...MacGyver in the noon slot, and The Waltons at 6 AM, to say nothing of them knocking it out of prime-time for The Brady Bunch and Happy Days.
There's plenty of shows on--it's just that none of them appeal to me. There's a limit to the number of times I want to watch The Brady Bunch. :rolleyes:
I never got sick of watching The Love Boat though...
