After much soul searchig this week, I have decided that I will put my efforts into something i have been wanting to try for some time...

Standup Comedy.

I have been working on some material for a few months and I don't know when, but sometime this year I will give it a try.

I will keep you posted on my progress.

Now I am going to bed and try to think up more "a guy walks into a bar" jokes...

I'm not so sure that's a good idea considering you need to have a good sense of humor to be a standup comic, and well....let's just say you're sort of a wet blanket.

I used to go to comedy clubs a lot. They're fun. Do you go to comedy clubs, and do you have places in mind where you'd like to get your foot in the door?

I know some clubs here in NYC do "open mic" nights and showcases, so I will probably start there. I am hoping to catch a few of these events to get some idea how things are done. Also I will be checking out a few comedy clubs, to see what kind of material established comedians are doing on stage.
