Here's a couple of inconsistencies I'd like to point out since I don't know of anybody else who has:
In the episode "Lionel Steps Out" Edith mentions that her father died before Archie and her met. However in "Two's a Crowd" Archie says that Edith's father hated him. Somebody's not telling the truth here.
Before Gloria and Mike got married, Archie was aware that Mike was an athiest and Gloria had picked up on the same attitudes. This was shown in the flashback episodes "Mike and Gloria's Wedding." However in the premiere "Meet the Bunkers" when Gloria and Mike question God's existence Archie says "I knew we had pinkos here but I didn't know we had athiests." In other words, he acts as though it's the first time he ever heard an athiest remark from either of them.

I thought of one...there was an episode (I think it was "Chain Letter") where Edith says she met Archie when she was 18. But in other episodes she talks about knowing Archie before he went off to fight in WWII (which would probably be around 1942). These inconsistencies make it difficult for me to write my latest story. :) I'm writing about Archie and Edith's lives during the Depression, WWII, and the 50s and 60s.

Mike is actually an agnostic. Someone who doubts the existence of god. An athiest is simply a person who does not believe in the existence of any gods or god. In any case, Archie thinks it means that ".... HE CAN'T HAVE KIDS!! "

Is that another incosistency? Mike being agnostic at one time and being athiest at another? Because Archie called him an athiest in an epiosde that was on not too long ago. Mike didn't correct him. Although, maybe he didn't correct him because he didn't care to. Actually, I always thought Mike was an athiest throughout the whole show, although I'm thinking "agnostic" was mentioned at least once, like in the first season. I have a bad memory so feel free to help me out with this.

Also, the reason that Mike didn't always corrected Archie when he was wrong is because there's only 24 hours in a day, and it was only a half hour show.

Thanks Walter. Was I actually getting my info from Archie? I had in my mind that Mike was an athiest because I heard Archie say it was so. Whooops. No doubt Mike correcting Archie every single time would have been a 24 hour job, but I figured on something like this, Mike would stand up for himself at least once on the matter.
