Thank you for sharing this with us...What a GREAT article!

I've heard and read that throughout it's run, the "Wings" set was a very happy one, and the cast got along great....

The mere fact that Thomas Haden Church returned to watch the final filming and cheer his former co-workers on, even though he chose not to appear on the actual finale episode, says a lot about the closeness of the cast members.

I've never heard any stories of in-house fighting, back-biting or big egos ("HE got more lines than ME this week!") among the cast members...and you DO hear a lot of that with other TV series.

I think that the whole "WINGS" operation was a real "class act"!

Wow, great article!!! I wish that Wings would come out on dvd, not only to have all the episodes, but for behind-the-scenes footage and outtakes as well.

By the way, I noticed in a recent episode (I think Joe's birthday party ep), Brian slams the door open and it smacks against the bookshelf pretty hard. I bet that happened a lot whenever the scene called for someone to throw open the office door.

that would be totally awesome if they came out with the complete series of wings I mean look they have .... I Love Lucy, South Park, Cheers, Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, The Simpsons, ect. .... it would be almost a non human thing to do, not putting Wings out on dvd or vhs, wouldnt you think?
