n the episode "blood is thicker than junk" at the very beginning of the show fred was n the kitchen makin lamonts breakfast and singing. the lyrics went like this "i hate to see that evening sun go down, cause my baby she done left this town". lamont called fred ray charles while he was singing so im assuming that might b who sings it, but what is the name of the song???

I remember the episode you're talking about, and I'm pretty sure the song Fred is singing is the W.C. Handy classic "St. Louis Blues".Being from St.. Louis,Fred probably sang it around the house all the time.Don't know if Ray Charles ever did a version, though,or if Lamont was just being sarcastic.
