I think this has to be another case of dis-information. On "Jump the Shark," there are quite a few mentions of Rick and Kris getting bunk beds after they were married.

The A & E "Biography" did show a clip of the trailer for "Love and Kisses" and it did show Rick's and Kris' characters sleeping in bunk beds. But unless my eyes are deceiving me, each episode of the "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" I've seen that went into Rick's and Kris' bedroom, they were sleeping in the same bed.

I think you're right about the beds. Kris and Rick slept in a double bed. The bunk bed thing was from "Love and Kisses". O&H selpt in a double bed also after the first season or two. Ozize said his was the first show to have a couple sleep togteher.
