Should The Ropers come to TV LAND in the future? Maybe it could air during the weekends.

I think a short-lived sitcom like the Ropers would only be part of a boxset not part of the TV LAND lineup. I think it only had a total of 30 episodes.

It would be cool to see The Ropers on TV Land. They could air it as part of the TV Land KitSchen.

btw, the show has 28 episodes [26 if you don't count the two that are part of the TC rerun package].

They should put out a DVD with all the episodes of both "The Ropers" and "Three's A Crowd". I remember these shows being on channel 11 in my area, but I was too young to remember these shows in great detail

I seriously doubt that they'd release either show on DVD, unfortunately. The parent show of both shows, Three's Company, isn't even on DVD and I'd imagine that it would sell many more copies than both spinoffs combined.

Anyways, I really hope that The Ropers comes to TV Land or airs in a special or a boxset. To quote Stanley, 'why have something when you don't use it?'

Well Sean looks like the Ropers will never be seen on in syndication again. It's a shame we were not age we both are now in 1979-LOL Then we woud have seen it on ABC and syndication

I agree oracle. It would be great to have both spin-off series on DVD.

I think that the two Ropers episodes in the box set will be on the Three's Company Season 3 DVD and the pilot of Three's A Crowd in the Season 8 DVD(just predictions)

Those two episodes will not be on the TC DVD for season 3 because they are not Three's Company Episodes

Who would buy a Ropers DVD?

I would - although, I have never seen the show because I was way too young when it first aired. The price would have to be right, though! I have heard that "The Ropers" was not a very good show. How did Stanely and Helen differ in "The Ropers" from how they were in "Three's Company"?

Here is how the Ropers were different on their own show

1.Mrs. Roper had a friend

2.Stanley had no one to make fun of

3.Mrs. Ropers didn't ask for sex

4.Stanley interacted with a 4 year old who lived next door

5.Stanley wasn't as Grumpy as he was on Three's Company

Who would buy a Ropers DVD?

Hmm, a hard question! lol

I think I will rent it first.

I didn't like Jeffrey at all.......including Jeffery Tambor.

I didn't find him quite funny on The Ropers.

Since I like him on Larry Sanders and Arrested Development, I may buy it.

I think it would be great if they released The Ropers and Three's A Crowd on DVD. I have never seen these shows before and I would love to see them. I heard a rumor that On the Three's Company season 6 DVD that they might put Three's A Crowd on it, but I didn't hear anything about The Ropers. I don't know, We'll just have to see what happens.:happyface

I think Three's a Crowd has a much better chance of being released on DVD than the Ropers since John Ritter was in that show.
