According to the "Ask Morty" classic tv index site, "Gidget" will be replaced by "Happy Days" in June.

So take out some blank tapes if you want to tape some episode you forgot or enjoyed the most. :)

I understand because "Gidget" only lasted 32 episodes & wouldn't be right if it ran all year with 2 episodes airing each day.

I understand. I've seen all the episodes and enjoyed seeing Gidget.

Now if only TVLand would put on the Patty Duke Show. :(

Effective June 2nd, Happy Days will replace Gidget at 5:00/5:30PM.

I am taping the show right now, just so I can get it on tape because it may never return. If it did stay longer, I think viewers would be tired of it, because it did only last 32 episodes and it airs in "Twice as Nice".

That is TERRIBLE! I should have gotten out my tape when I had the chance!:crying:

Awww, I know it's sad to see it go right now, but I think that Gidget will return again sometime in the near future.....

I think it will return again also, and I wouldn't be too worried about them leaving because Gidget and The Flying Nun are both owned by Screen Gems and TV Land has the rights to air them still. I think maybe these two shows may even end up in the TV Land Kitschen again.

I now regret not recording the series. Does anyone know if it will come back anytime soon?

I haven't heard when Gidget it coming back to TV Land unfortunately. The way things are going, it seems like our only hope is to start buying tapes on e-bay:(

This is garbage :( , it has to come back on tvland , I just started really gettin into the show and now it's not gonna be on , D*mn what am I gonna do , does anyone think it'll come back on
