George Clooney has admitted he has starred in a number of films that make him wince.

He names Batman And Robin and Return Of The Killer Tomatoes as two of his most regrettable projects.

And the actor claims to be gradually turning his back on Hollywood to spend more time in his new home in Italy, along with his pet pig.

Talking about his worst films, he told German newspaper Berliner Zeitung that Batman and Robin was "a really bad movie".

"When they're on TV and you happen to see a bit, you just think 'Oh God, switch it off'," he said.

"For once, I was in the famous worst film ever, Return of the Killer Tomatoes.

"That one's so bad you just watch it front to end with your mouth gaping open."

Clooney confirmed he has recently bought a house in Italy.

He added: "Eventually, I'll go there, sit down, enjoy the Italian pasta and bulge like Marlon Brando.

"And I'll rename my pet pig Max and call him prosciutto."

Those movies are the reason why he has that house in Italy!

I suppose he would still want to be a starving actor working in a restaurant?

If he doesn't want the job I'll take it!

I'm sorry he did Batman and Robin, too. I'm sorry that movie was ever made. It was pretty bad, imo.

If he thought those films were so bad, why did he choose to be in them? It doesn't make any sense to spend time working on a project that he hates. Actors should be at least somewhat proud of their accomplishments. Drama and film should be fun, not something where you have projects that you hate to do.
