Sometimes a show will develop sort of a "sub-team" which works well together....

"Cheers" had Norm and Cliff, "The Carol Burnett Show" had Harvey Korman and Tim Conway, etc.

In watching "Wings", I'm seeing a great "sub-team" in Roy and Lowell.
They have the same wonderful chemistry that Laurel & Hardy and Gleason & Carney had.
Lowell says these stupid or weird things, and Roy will give him this disgusted look, or look around the airport with this "Will somebody please shut this guy UP?" expression on his face.

The two of them are very funny to watch together....Roy's reactions are priceless, and I'm getting so all I have to see is Lowell walk into the scene, put his hands on his hips and say, "Ya know, Joe...." with that serious, deadpan expression of his and I start laughing!

your right pilot, antonio and roy just didn't connect as much, the chemistry was always there with Roy and Lowell

I agree. Roy and Lowell made a great comedy team. Roy and Fay were good too. They all had great chemistry.
