Nanny Fine 04-25-2003, 08:19 AM Originally posted by peter may I am not sure if he is legit, but about 2 weeks ago i was thinking of trading with him for 4 episodes of a sitcom and he wanted a joke price of $50, yes $50, he must have thought I was born yesterday. i would stay clear he most likely rips people off! ;) I would not automatically assume that means he rips people off. That's a pretty blanket statement to make against someone. I asked $15 for an SLP tape (which included shipping!) and you never emailed me back, I dont think that is excessive and I dont rip people off.  Agent 13 04-25-2003, 10:49 AM Does anyone know what his ID is on this board? Thanks for your help. peter may 04-25-2003, 11:12 AM . GrapeJelly 04-25-2003, 11:24 AM Originally posted by peter may I never emailed you back for a $15 tape, when was that? What was it for? C'mon, $50 it's rediculous for a tape with episodes just recorded off of TV, you only have to press a record button. He said he had to pay "a high price to acquire these episodes"....er..hmm..ok, what did he have to, purchase them from NBC????? I think $50 is a very high price for 4 episodes as well, but we shouldn't assume all he did was press a record button. If he got them off of ebay or something similar, it is entirely possible he really did pay a high amount for them and is just maybe trying to recoup some of his losses. Even if his asking price is too high, I would think to qualify being labeled a rip-off you would either have to send people poor quality tapes or send them nothing at all. Since you obviously didn't buy the tape, you have no basis to claim either. "Overly expensive" seems like a fair term. Rip-off does not. If the price is too high, you simply need not buy it, but I don't see a valid reason to drag his name through the mud over it. peter may 04-25-2003, 11:39 AM . Agent 13 04-25-2003, 11:52 AM Woops, I just blacklisted Kenny Helms's name....I was actually thinking of someone else this guy: scorpion__king32837..he was the $50 rip off merchant! Forgive my saying so, but please go into "edit" and get rid of the comments you made. Editing is quite easy, and it'd be best if the comments were deleted altogether. By the way, does anyone know Kenny Helms' ID on this board! Thanks:wave: Nanny Fine 04-25-2003, 11:55 AM Originally posted by peter may I would not automatically assume that means he rips people off.
