View Full Version : Barney moves to 3am in June!
DetectiveGriffin 04-24-2003, 08:48 PM Instead of staying up late maybe I'll just get up early, LOL!
At least it's still on the schedule, eh?
(This what posted by pavanbal at the sitcoms and discussion board along with lots of other info - i really need to get him a present of something.) ^_^

I agree it's a good thing that it's still on the schedule, unfortunately for me, it seems that I won't be able to continue watching BM after the schedule change. Even though I live in the West Coast, I get an East Coast feed for many channels, including TV Land. For me it means that I currently get to watch BM at 11:30 PM, which is reasonable, but later than that... I don't know. I was very happy when it aired a half hour earlier some months ago, but I have to sleep sometime!
I have the episodes on tape, so I can always watch those, but besides enjoying watching the regular airings, I figured I was doing a tiny bit to raise ratings and the justification for keeping the show on the air a little longer.
Didn't Pavandal post a while back that the show would air until September?

Oh, if he did, i missed it. Thats great, because theres a couple eps I keep missing - the cortesans, hash - maybe they will even decide to play one or two of the eps theyve been skipping.

I've missed a few eps too; not to mention stupid TV Land skips a dozen. I understand them skipping a few that have bombs, etc. (I still wouldn't mind them airing those). I'm just taping all I can. I've beyond given up on TV Land airing a show from start to finish complete. TV Land generally seems to skip holiday episodes, and "bad" episodes more regularly.
Anyway, I digress, it's just annoying when taping something and you either a) miss an episode, or b) a network skips an episode.

Yes, exactly! I missed exactly one episode when I was taping the last cycle, not counting the ones that TVLand keeps skipping. Unfortunately it was right at the end, so I have to wait awhile before it comes on again. It's good to know that Barney Miller will still be on until September (is this really true?).
I keep odd hours, so I would watch Barney at 2:30 from time to time, but I think 3 in the morning is a bit late--or early--for me.
BundyBoy10 04-27-2003, 12:45 PM 3am is a better spot for me too. I am glad it is staying. :)
DetectiveGriffin 04-27-2003, 02:24 PM Yeah, im thinking about going back on a midnights schedule anyway - not sure. Im going to apply for a midnight shift job every other weekend, plus my friend works midnights and i babysit her kids. I figure i can stay up all night and do my homeworks - stuff like that. I used to love night shift before. Of course, for a nursing assistant, working the night shift usually pays an extra couple dollars an hour. :)
focusly 04-28-2003, 12:48 AM much as I don't like it either, I have to admit that at least it'll be in the summer when I'm out of school for good. Makes me wish it came on in the afternoons like it used to awhile back
Scoobiedoo30 05-08-2003, 11:31 PM Man Barner Miller moving to 2:00 am central I dont mind that
I would rather it come on at 1:30 am central time period on TV Land.
