I'm a first time message poster, but just have to say how much I love "Chico and the Man", and how much I loved it even being 4 and 5 years old when it first came out. They just don't make shows like this one anymore. Is there any way to buy this show on DVD/VHS anywhere? Will definitely visit TVLand and e-mail them to put CATM back on!!!!

Welcome to the CATM board. Most of us that post on here are huge fans of Freddie Prinze Sr. So glad you have joined us.
Unfortunately CATM shows are not out on DVD, but we all wish they were because the show was such a classic. The magic between Freddie Prinze and Jack Albertson was without a doubt one of the best partnerships in television history. We have all written to TV Land and signed various petitions to urge them to bring the show back..but all our efforts have fallen on deaf ears I'm afraid. I hope you will continue to spend time here and interact with some of the nicest people you'll meet anywhere on the internet. Through my love for Freddie, I have made many wonderful friends. Welcome!!!

Where can I buy the series on DvD ?

Unfortunately it isn't out on DVD, VHS, nada. :( We, the fans of the show, only wish it would come out. I would love to own it, uncut and in digital quality. Until such time, I have to content myself with the tapes I made from TVLand when it was on back in 2001.
