I think that one of the funniest episodes of The Andy Griffith Show is where Andy gets a call from Mt. Pilot for a business meeting and asks Goober to look after the courthouse for him,when he doesn't show up the first time,he was busy at the filling station working on an engine for Gilley Walker(played by Larry Hovis from Hogan's Heroes). Then afterwards, Goober is at the courthouse and he is outside with Gilley's car and the phone rings,and Andy gets mad at Goober for not answering the phone in the courthouse. Then Goober goes back to Andy's house and he says that he has fixed Gilley's car and that he was staying at the courthouse,and then Andy tells him that he wasn't needed,then Aunt Bee changes Andy's mind and Andy tells Goober not to leave the courthouse for anything. Then Gilley comes and says the car wasn't working right,and that's when they have the engine in the courthouse. And then when Andy comes back and sees a crowd outside the courthouse,he sees the car in the courthouse. Hilarious episode!!!:lol:

are they going to repeat that episode soon that is my number 1 favorite episode and I hope they replay soon.

I think Andy was unfair to Goober by not tolerating his antics more in this ep after Andy for years had almost always nicely put up with Barney's million tons of mayhem.
