I try and post as often as possible :) Sometimes it seems that not many people watch or appreciate the show for how funny and clever it really was :)

The Nanny by far is my favorite TV show right now. I wish I had been smart enough to watch it when it wason it's run on CBS!

I really like the show too. My taping/tv watching schedule doesn't really give me time to watch it on Lifetime, but I got in an episode today and the Liz Taylor ep was on and HILARIOUS. I could not stop laughing. This show is a gem, it really is. It doesn't get nearly enough credit.

Niles and CC just kill me! I love their comebacks (Well mostly Niles' comments). :D I wish I saw it on CBS too but I didn't become a fan of the show until the summer of '99, right after it went off. Sometimes the editing on Lifetime drives me nuts though because there were parts that were shown on sydication, but cut out on Lifetime, and vice-versa.

As of last night I have all of the Nanny on tape except 3 holiday episodes that they've missed through the runs on Lifetime. Now I am on a mission to find those. One of them is the animated one. Has The Nanny been on syndication elsewhere other than Lifetime?

I've been a big fan of Charles Shaughnessy for years since he played Shane Donavon on Days of Our Lives. I'm surprised I didn't follow him from Days to Nanny. It may have aired originally on a night that I watched something else, I have no idea. But I do wish that I had watched it originally.

I don't think it was ever on a national network, just locals. I used to get it on my UPN at 9:30 every night.

I've seen most of the episodes (Except for the animated Christmas one), but don't tape it. I really don't have room at all for tapes and the money to dish out right now. But if Lifetime ever pulls it off the air, or gives advance notice, I'll be taping like hell. I don't expect Lifetime to take it off the air anytime soon, but you never know. Mad About You has been on there since March or '02 and Golden Girls and Designing Women have been on forever. DW is sort of fading as it got down to one airing a day, but GG is like in it's prime. They get 7 slots a day. I don't really care if they drop an airing or two of The Nanny, I just hope they don't pull it off the air altogether.

The animated Christmas special you speak of is called "Oy To The World" and you can probably still buy it new off of Amazon.com and Ebay. It's cool by the fact it's completely animated and makes some rather funny referrecnes to Rain Man near the end.

No, I meant after it finished it's initial run and went into syndication. I was answering your question about the shows syndication.
