What character did stanley fafara play on leave it to beaver...and is there a tiger fafara?

Stanley Fafara portrayed one of Beaver's pals. He played the character Whitey Whitney.

And yes, there was a "Tiger" Fafara on the show. He portrayed one of Wally's earlier pals. He played the character Chester Anderson. And I'm sure you know that Tiger and Stanley were brothers in real life. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

"Tiger" Fafara and Stanley Fafara were brothers, and Stanley did play Whitey Whitney. But "Tiger" played the role of Tooey Brown, the kid who wore very thick eyeglasses and still couldn't see, and who bought a motorscooter without any wheels for 75 cents.

Chester Anderson was played by Buddy Hart, son of actor John Hart, who had 'filled in' as the Long Ranger while Clayton Moore was in a long contract dispute.

Both Tooey and Chester seemed to have disappeared by the 3rd season. Chester was perhaps too much like Wally, in size, appearance...everything. Tooey was humorously eccentric, but the decision makers evidently chose to go with Eddie Haskell and Lumpy Rutherford as the 'friendly foils' of Wally, who were *more* humorously eccentric.

Oh, my goodness. I can't believe I goofed on that question! I've never been wrong when it came to Leave It To Beaver trivia, but I guess there's always a first! Yes, Tiger Fafara played Tooey Brown, not Chester Anderson. But I do get those two mixed up quite a lot for some reason. Thanks for clearing that up for us, tdr. *Does a Homer Simpson "Doh!"*

I never knew that but now that I think about it, Tooey & Whitey looked alike!!
