"THE PETERSON CASE: A QUESTION OF MURDER?"

ABC News to Broadcast Special Edition of "Primetime Thursday" on Developments in the Laci Peterson Case, to air Thursday, April 24, at 9:00 p.m., ET

ABC News will air a Special Edition of "Primetime Thursday" on the latest developments in the Laci Peterson case on THURSDAY, APRIL 24 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET). Diane Sawyer will anchor the special broadcast - "The Peterson Case: A Question of Murder?" - which will include her interview with Scott Peterson and reports from ABC News' John Quinones, Chris Cuomo, Jay Schadler and ABC News' Senior Legal Correspondent, Cynthia McFadden.

The "Primetime" Special Edition will be followed by a regularly scheduled "Primetime Thursday," featuring Sawyer's exclusive interview with the Dixie Chicks.

The L.A. courts are going to make an example of Scott Peterson, remember what happened to the last guy that A.) Killed his wife, B.) Tried to flee the country, C.) Had a lot of cash on him ? His name was O.J. Simpson, and when he got away with killing his wife, the world lost it's mind. They'll definately make an example of Scott Peterson, and give him the death penalty.

I wish I could watch it! Dang it, we don't get ABC over here. Please, please fill me in on what's happening! (Dang German TV has also cut Larry King so now I'm completely out of the loop.) They've found Laci and Connor's bodies, right? I'm confused. How could Connor have been sepparate from Laci if he was still unborn? (Or do I not want to know the answer?) And Scott Peterson had dyed his hair and grown a beard and had thousands of dollars with him when he was arrested... Could he BE more guilty? So many people around the world want to hang him from the nearest tree. I myself am not opposed to stoning and/or crucifiction.

Laci's body bloated, which happens in death if you are not embalmbed, and the gasses from her body bloating caused her to "give birth" to the baby even in death. :(

Ah, I see. Thanks. It's so awful. Do we know when the court date will be for Scott Peterson?

The last I've heard is that they will give him a chance to set bail. How disgusting is that? :p

Was there any new evidence against Scott? I haven't had TV for a week so the last I heard was about her body being found and her baby's and Scott's arrest. Can someone fill me in on any new developments.

Inspector Exstead..... When they grabbed this guy he had changed his hair color to a dirty blond. He also grew a goatee. He was also found with 10,000 in cash.

He has to explain. 1) A black tarp that was found at the scene where the bodies were found. A neighbor saw him put this black tarp in his truck on Christmas Eve. (Supposedly her body was in it).

2) Why he cleaned with bleach.

3) His boat hasn't been used in a while so they claim he lied. That he didn't go fishing on Christmas Eve.

4) A receipt they found near the scene of where the bodies were found. It seems like it's a fishing receipt.

5) The investigators believe that she was punched in the stomach in her house and she threw up alot. They think she died on the 23rd not the 24th.

6) When she was found she was missing her head, a foot, and other body parts. :(

We might be a little presumptuous in spite of the overwhelming evidence against him, but what this "question" bit??

I cannot believe the crap that is done against women in this society in this day and age. His new boyfriends are going to rip him to shreds.

This case just gets sadder and sadder. Poor Laci - she never knew how many live she touched. If Scott's gonna get out on bail somebody might just shoot him. I have to admit (and I'm not a violent person) if I saw him on the street I may be tempted to take a shot at him myself. In jail or on the street, this guy is dead.

When Scott took her out of the house he then proceeded to go to his workplace. I forgot to mention that they believe that Scott chopped her up so she could fit in this box thing. When they found her she was missing her head, right arm, part of her left leg, plus her right
foot was missing. (Forgive me if this is to gruesome).

***Correction - As far as the tarp is concerned it was Blue not Black.......

AND THEY'RE STILL GIVING THE SOB GET OUT ON BAIL!?! WHAT IS UP WITH THIS JUDICIAL SYSTEM? :mad:

If Scott chopped her up, how would it be possible for her baby to come out if she was bloating?
