Oh now, that's B.S. I was born in Providence. I went back there in 2000 for a wedding and I absolutely loved it! That Mall they have... There's nothing like that on the scale here and the weather is BEAUTIFUL, even in mid-summer!

Aha what a joke. Look! Its the Danville Memorial Day parade!!

Thats Gortons (gas station/town store) across the street. Well, actually its Mayo's Market. The Mayos bought it and renamed it. (It was called Danville Village Market). Ill always call it Gortons though. The brown building next to it is the Fire Association Hall. Ugh, damnit they didnt get a pic of the tree they're in front of. They keep it decorated in Christmas all year long lol.

Oh, and heres the police/fire station. Its right next to the Town Hall which is right next to the church.

Las Vegas isn't what it's all cracked up to be.

Sure, you can booze up here 24/7, but if you don't gamble (like myself) it's pretty worthless... and even if you do... well, it's still worthless.

Good points: It's somewhat cheap to live here, you can booze up 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

Bad points: Jobs don't really pay well, unbearably hot in the summer (120+ degrees!), people are rude, very bad transportation system, drivers voted one of worst in the country, high crime rates.

As you can see, the bad outweighs the good here...

Hmm, bad points are pretty much the same as they are here, but it's not cheap to live here, and bars close at 2am... Las Vegas is definitly better than Jersey...

Sand and surf. Temperate weather.
High costs. Lots of vocal special interests groups, which represent only a small portion of the citizenry, that frequently cause the rest of the city to be subjected to policies that are not really in anyone's best interests. I call this kind of person a "do-gooder," if you get my drift.

well....i live in the san fernando valley in california (southern california). here's a picture of my school.

la's a really bad place to be at night. you don't want to by a lot of stuff off the bazaars on the street cuz sometimes you don't know what you're buying. it's filled with drunk and homeless pervs who try to hit on you for money that they're going to use to go run across to the liquor store and by a bottle of vodka so they can sing about olden times and how great life was before they were enclosed in a box.

but la's got all the major businesses and stuff there. the staples center is also there. we went there for a basketball game my sister won tickets to.... .....it's so freakin big! and they have really good cheese nachos.

universal studios hollywood is 30 minutes away from here. Disneyland (in anaheim) is an hour away. san fransisco's 6 (ok, that's not really my neighboorhood).

Actually he DID say Blue Bus, I'm sure he was refering to the Santa Monica Bus Lines down there. When I was going to school down there at UCLA over ten years ago, I saw those (actually I was there six years ago as well).

But then again, given his state of mind, he could've meant a Big Blue Bug!;)

And heres a forum for people living in the town to comment about. Most people say how crap the town is- there are different categories- Town Heroes, Events, buildings, The Music Scene, Great Hangout spots etc- http://www.knowhere.co.uk/3759.html
