I know the names of the children are Beaver and Wally. But didn't The Beaver have a REAL name on the show? Not his name in real life.

You're right. Beaver's real name was Theodore. He got the nickname Beaver, because when Wally was very young, he couldn't pronounce Theodore and called him something that sounded like Tweedore. Ward and June thought that Beaver sounded better, so that's what they called him.
