Ramones, Tom Petty, Van Halen, The Who, Rolling Stones, Whitesnake, L L Cool J, Bon Jovi, Blondie, Metallica, etc.

I don't like the crap on TRL.

I like The Cure, The Smiths, The Bangles and Depeche Mode too. But, I never watch VH1 or MTV. I usually attend the local gothic/industrial club we have here and they play a lot of Goth, New Wave and Industrial from the 80's.

I really want VH1 Classic. All the stations I get just suck and they are at the lowest point ever. Idk, wild thought, but I'm the kind of person that just likes watching and listening to music videos. MTV rarely plays any good music videos at a decent hour. I'm not counting TRL. They play the same crap over and over again and you can't even see the whole video. VH1 is okay. I suppose it's a bit better than MTV. CMT is starting to really overplay some of their stuff, so I haven't really been watching it at all lately. I have BET, but couldn't tell you about it. I just don't like too much rap.

I seriously listen to the radio more than watch any of the music stations. I like listening to this one certain 80s station. I really love 80s music.

I also think TRL really bites the big one... I watch 106th & Park but sometimes they suc too... I don't have that VH1 channel but I like the VH1 regular channel:D

I have VH1 Classic too and I love it, I have my Tivo set to record the request hour

I LOVE all the people you just listed- I'm trying to convince my dad to get the 500+ channels, in which VH1 Classic comes with them, but my dad's a cheapskate. I HATE MTV.

i like TRL better......

All the 'big' music channels (MTV, VH1 and all their off-shoots) are crap! The best music channels are P-RockTV, Scuzz and KerrangTV (in that order).
VH1 Classic is only worth watching after 9pm cos that's when they play all the old rock ballads from the 1980's - during the day they just play pop videos.

VH1 classic is awesome. It's like MTV used to be when I was a kid!

I agree. I'd much rather watch 80's metal bands, than the fake pop stars of today. TRL SUX!!!

LOL... I don't like TRL, but I do like MTV. I'm not into VH-1 Classic- I'm not that OLD yet.

I just happen to like music from the 1980's, 1970's, & even from the 1960's.
