Because Iverson had to score 55 points for the Sixers to only win by 8 points meaning that all the other sixers players were able to be kept under control. And we all know that iverson won't score 55 points again in game 2. Look for the hornets to tie this series 1-1

Correction-Why Hornets fans shouldn't be bothered by losing game one to the sixers

The way the Spurs tripled team Marbury in the 4th quarter tonight iswhat the Hornets was supposed to do to Iverson. Why would any NBA coach let one player score that many points? Silas said he prefered to put one defender on iverson so that he can take the other players out the game. How stupid is that strategy? You always double or triple iverson in the 4th quarter of a playoff game.

When i was watching the Spurs game tonight, they showed at the bottom of the screen that Baron Davis got hurt the other night. What did he injure? Is he gonna play game 2? Did u hear about a woman in New Jersey suing Kenny Anderson? Kenny has a lawsuit against him from this woman who says he promised he was gonna buy her a house & give her some money but he never did LOL. She must've been a old girlfriend of his.

Well it was said Davis didn't practice today. So no word on whether he is playing wednesdat night. Hornets style of play is just too laid back and slow to beat the sixers. Expect to see Mcgrady versus Iverson in round 2-TNT would LOVE THAT-they would be jumping for joy.

Is Eric Snow still a 76er? I haven't really been following the Eastern Conference all that much this year. Anyway I believe that the 76er's are going to win the next game. Even if Iverson does have a bad game, (which I doubt) I believe Eric Snow and Aaron Mckie as well as a few other role players will be there to pick up the slack. Just because the 76er supporting cast had a less than stellar first game, doesn't mean they will next time. And don't count Allen having another 50 point game out just yet. He has been known to put multiple amazing games together back to back, and I wouldn't be surprised if he does it again. My prediction for the next game is that Iverson will score atleast 40 points, and I believe the 76er's will win by 5.

The Sixers will win the series because the Hornets lack SPEED and prefer to play half court basketball. So expect the sixers to win the series in 4 or 5 games.
