In the ET program MJF mentions that he thought that the character Alex may have not faired very well, possibly ending up in jail over issues of money. What do you think? Do you think that would have happened to Alex? If not, what do you think happened to Alex when he moved to NY? Did he make it in the Big Apple, or did he move back to Ohio?

My guess is that since he is now over 35 years old he would decide to run for the President of the United States by late 2003, and in 2004 he will beat President George W. Bush, and Hillary Clinton in a landslide to become the new President, while Skippy becomes his vice President. And just like he mentioned in the show Jennifer would play with her band at the innaguration. While in office though I believe he would be involved in a scandal involving money, and end up disgracing the Nation just like his hero Richard Nixon. I think if they ever do a Family Ties reunion this would be the most perfect, and logical storyline.

I think Alex is living the high life in NYC he lives in a huge pent house and is the manager of Wal Street. I think he will run for president in 2008. He is married to ME, okay fine not me maybe Lauren and has kids.

Alex became the Junior Senator for Ohio, occording to an episode of Spin City. I'm not sure but I think it was Michael J. Fox's last episode of Spin City. He was having "trouble" with a certain Junior Republican Senator named Alex P. Keaton from Ohio. I thought that was cool how they tied his two roles together.

As obsessed as Alex would get sometimes, he would always do the right thing when it came to something wrong. Like when his buddy got canned so they could hire Alex, or making Nick crank out sculptures, or Jen's band, he always realized what he was doing.

A great line was by Fox to Johnny Carson a few months before he went off the air. Carson asked what he thought happened to Alex, and Fox said he probably became a bunkmate with Michael Milken. Milken had just gotten jailtime for selling junk bonds, lol. I have it on tape somewhere, which I could find it.
